  1. Again, why was Gordon in the game?
  2. Willie Mays Hays Gordon is back
  3. Why is Gordon even in the game?
  4. There would have been no game 5.
  5. Must make the pitchers have hemorrhoids to have double digit strike outs and be losing.
  6. VERY interesting base running.
  7. If he learns how to hit again.
  8. Twins need a left fielder with a throwing arm and accuracy like Adell has.
  9. Yankees were just another team until Kelly retired, since then it has been pathetic.
  10. Many keep saying, "Well the Dodgers are the best team, blah, blah, blah" yet San Francisco, Colorado and Washington won series from them so the Twins losing is a matter a team playing poorly, not the other team simple so much better it is OK to lose.
  11. Archer beat the Yankees 8-1, one the Twins few true high points.
  12. 1962 -- 91-71 1963 - 91-70
  13. RISP means zip if there if there is not a rbi; -- I.e." Player k has 78 risp at bats, he has 10 rbi -- bench him."
  14. Hmm, Twins do not steal bases but sent a not very speeding runner home on a single from second base.
  15. Good for Celestino, now not hitting one will not bother him.
  16. Do you think , maybe , the Twins coaches saw this?
  17. Game cast has the Angels favored over the Twins 54 to 46 percent.
  18. I still find it a bit wondrous that some much is put on pitching while rarely mentioning the lack of hitting and very poor fielding which cost just as the pitching. If they were commonly losing by one or two runs it would be different but they are getting blown out with one or two runs too often.
  19. Well as the Saints have a losing record, let them flail away there, and not in the Bigs.
  20. Bringing back Astudillo would have been a far, far, far, far better choice; opposing pitchers would face, regardless of whether it was a hit or not, some one who WOULD put the bat on the ball, rather than strike out repeatedly.
  21. Fielding has been at little league level for several games now and unless that stops (runners not on base from errors cannot score) other teams will still see the Twins as no challenge.
