  1. He had trouble using his glove twice early on; as the commentator said on the last one, he learned to bare hand it and not use his glove. He hustles but is as erratic as Polanco was when he played short stop.
  2. Not that long ago some here were hyperventilating over whether Arraez could win the batting title.?
  3. Arraez fielding today, Sept. 5 confirms they have a serious problem when Donaldson or Simmons do not play.
  4. Kiriloff is still a rookie unknown, he did not play enough games to prove anything so do not bet on the unknown. Hoping he continues at least as good as he was for sure; spring training will tell a lot. Arraez would be a fielding let down compared to what we have now, and his batting average is dropping like a rock.
  5. That is what spring training is for, not bringing in some rookie to get his butt handed to him now.
  6. Empty stands which will bother the Pohlads greatly, plus to go from a 90 loss season to another 90 loss season would be obtuse on its best day.
  7. Twins need one capable of being a 20 game winner (still my standard for best of the good).
  8. If you have long straight hair, as I do, the LAST thing you want is to have it flowing (wildly flopping and tangling in the wind, as some time you cannot untangle it ) The picture reminds me of dudes trying to grow mustache and beard with out enough facial follicles to do so.?
  9. All I can say about that fielding is Yuk.
  10. Part of it is being around mostly same people for years while also enjoying where you are at. I firmly believe that is part of what make Twins player play well or mediocre.
  11. Twins cannot afford to lose either Polanco or Donaldson, take them out of the lineup and you will have the Minnesota Orioles . Fielding they cannot lose Simmons or Donaldson and Buxton. They need pitching badly but getting a good pitcher at the cost of run producers and run preventers would be asinine.
  12. Larnach is in the minors because his play skills put him there; Gordon is no better than Larnach and should be sent down unless they need some base path speed but they never use the one thing he has. Simmons plays short stop because the Twins do still want to win games.
  13. Let Gordon pitch.
  14. Astudillo pinch hitting rather than Gordon.
  15. Arraez made stupid move, period; all -- well if, well if, well if -- to excuse it do not work.
  16. I am not going to look it up again but there is a press release about the brand of baseball used in the Olympics; Ryan loved them and said U.S. pro-ball should use it.
  17. LOL -- of course they will fill it, but with WHAT?
  18. Berrios was/is not really all that good; his blow-outs are not as bad as some the Twins had but they happen/ed. The Twins need , at least one pitcher, better than Berrios, that the pitching staff cannot ruin. (I believe the pitching coach is a goodly part of the pitching snafu.)
  19. No guarantee any of those pitchers are in the future.
  20. They are afraid the Twins might actually win which would screw with their players heads.
  21. Watching rookies get their butts handed to them would have been worse, for the team and their psychology. At that, the Orioles lose 18 in a row then blow out the Angels two games in a row; how come the Twins are always the one who get blown out? I think the line-up Baldelli put against the Sox speaks for itself.
  22. Gant gave up four runs, the BP gave up 8; do not blame Gant and the other hot-shot bats were cold including Arraez with bases loaded.
  23. BUT, BUT they run the team with analytics, the miracle cure!
