I agree not all teams know what there going to do , still positioning themselves to determine if there buyers or sellers ... BUT , there are teams that already know they are going to buy and if those teams have something we like , we should be calling them to see if we have something they like ... We don't necessarily have to wait for every team , yes it could create a bidding war , if our front office is as smart as they think they are then the return should be just as good , get on the phone , get out front and stay out front , quit sucking hind tit ... I say think outside the box and get a quick start ahead of the other teams that will be sellers , they just might end up with the talent we want ...

The front office just poached a trade with the dodgers , Noah Davis , what more do you want ... Seriously though , in their gut they must feel that the twins are going nowhere this season , if the front office is going to make trades , why wait , do it calmly now , why wait for the last minute ruckus , let's get this retooling going now and see what we have going forward and create some excitement for next year ... If it's a deal worth making , then make the deal from our strength to strengthen our weaknesses ... It's a lost season , wait till next year ....

Wasn't much of a week to review ... Watched Ryan and Buxton in the allstar game which ended in a tie but was decided by a homerun derby ... Watched the twins in Colorado , nothing more to say after losing the first 2 games of the series ... Off to dodgertown , wish we were playing Detroit , they're slumping right now ....- 12 replies

We salvaged 1 win in Colorado , the 1 win won't salvage the season ... Moving on to dodgertown , 3 games , twins haven't had much luck with dodgers , but winning 1 games would be nice but I really don't expect it ... Retool at deadline , trade off expiring contracts , find the the diamond in the rough to fill our weaknesses ... Trading 1 of Duran , Jax or Stewart won't hurt us , trade from a surplus and find some good players to move forward and win the division , i dont like playing second fiddle to a wild card ... Pitching is our strength , trade for some spunky quality bats that hit , clutch hit , no nervous Nellie's ... We may lose the rest of the season but give our prospects everyday reps to see who could be part of our future ...

But that makes sense and we know the organization doesn't have sense, they live on hope... Ryan starting the second half to ignite a win first game of series in Colorado was much needed and then distinguish a possible losing streak in dodgerville ... -
Boy does Miranda needs a change of scenery , maybe he can play in Japan or Korea , I don't think there is any hope for him here ... I haven't the answers on what's exactly going on with our prospects , as we know once they get here and play , pitchers find their weaknesses and they seem incapable of adjusting and then become head cases ... If I had to guess on the answers , it would be coaching at the major league level is not capable of taking a minor league prospect with talent at the minor league level , bring him up to a harder ML level , now coaches and players should always be capable of adjusting and learning to surviving a faster game ... i've said it many times , talent needs to continue to get better each step of the way , you never stop learning ...

The twins should not be considered buyers per se , trade from a strength to fill the weaknesses of the team going forward ... Get an offer on an expiring contract and it's good enough to fill a weakness , take it ... Thats what we need to do at this years deadline , trade from our strength and expiring contracts and fill these weaknesses for 2026 ... You want my money , Make us believers again ...

I would concur with this assessment that the team was not positioned properly going forward in 2025 , failing to fill weaknesses this team is not good enough and doesn't deserve a post season opportunity ... It's a tough pill to swallow watching this team ...

Buxton is having a good season , he seems comfortable batting leadoff and hitting solo homeruns , I think he should be batting third and would see better pitches and better production IF the hitters in front of him could get on base ... Buxton is definitely the twins MVP for this year ...

Colorado has been playing lousy , really lousy but the fans are filling the stands and averaging 30 thousand per game ... The Colorado fans were rewarded with their first series win at home at the expense of the twins and have something to talk about ... Well the twins fans have something to talk about too , WE'RE LOSERS and we're not the lovable losers ...

That's the game , I'm taking mikelink suggestion and going to drink a few , maybe I will sleep then ... This is unacceptable , FO and Rocco can't keep thinking we have any kind of a chance for a playoff spot , I'm sorry and this is the only time I have really meant it , trade trade trade , it's not all the players fault , it's because we don't have a major league manager ...

If I was the new owner coming in , ( I would add in the purchase agreement that the pohlads pay 1 years salary on FO , manager and coaches )... You hired them you pay them , I'm going to fire them ...

The reason the twins are not playing hard is because of the simple plan the FO and Rocco have implemented ... The is not a professional baseball team , they are the most pathetic , pitiful , putrid, piss poor professional playing team ...
