    I saw some movement on his pitches I haven't seen all year ... It was a good solid 2 innings , he just has to be more consistent , like you said , his head isn't always screwed on the right way ...

    Every likely contender, that's kind of generous on the twins ... The twins are beating up on teams with poorer pitching and they should beat up on , against good pitchers and teams they struggle to get more than 3 hits , yes occasionally they win against better teams ... At the end of June we will know what the twins identity will be , either bad like the first month or like the numbers they had in May, June we are off to a good start against the Athletics ... When I see more consistency from our players , then I will join the contenders list ( that consistency needs to come from the hitters ) ... We saw the terrible last 2 months of 2024 and the terrible start in March and April , we've seen the good month of May , will it continue, sorry ill let you know at end of June how serious this team will towards being a contender , wins don't just matter , it's how consistently you play the game that makes you a contender ...

    Another double digit game , A's Lopez was effectively throwing and twins finally started building the come from behind win ... Nice Lewis finally gets a hit to break his slump .... Pablo Lopez injured , who will take his spot , Festa and SWR are first in line ... Let's keep it going tonight , hopefully zebulon Matthew's has a strong showing ,pitching has been the savior so far in the season ... Even a blind squirrel ( acala ) can find an acorn once in awhile , he did pitch 2 solid innings ...

    I've emphasized for a long time that these batters need to learn to hit to the opposite field , really to all fields ... You hit balls where they are pitched , if you can hit to all fields the opposing pitcher will have a more difficult time trying to get you out ... The game has changed to all power so it seems , batting averages have plummeted , to many strikeouts , the numbers don't seem to matter any more , rbis arent important anymore , it's OBP / OPS now , but that doesn't always manufacture runs on a consistent basis and runs are what wins games , if the batter can make these adjustments the hits will come , the batting average will climb , the runs will score and you will see better pitches and the guessing game will be alot easier ... We need better pure hitters that have a plan , the homeruns will come without trying ...

    I'll give you my answer at the end of June if we are contenders ... The twins started April bad , May they showed better results in playing competitive baseball ... 2 months of baseball , 1 bad , 1 good , show me better consistency on the offense , pitching remains the same and maybe at the end of June we can talk about the team being contenders ... Most of all , June is the month to show us fans what kind of identity they might have , right now it's undecided except for the strength of our pitching ...

    I wouldn't trade with Yankees, they really haven't much talented prospects because they are always trading away that talent for major league ready players ... As well as paddack is pitching , I can see teams that are looking for pitching and are contenders right now and want to push and make a statement ... Dodgers , Atlanta , San Francisco are teams that have injuries and need pitching , give them a call , I'm okay with trading paddack if we can fill a need in our lineup and a position ... Don't need any DH types...

    The starting lineup ... Each batter got a hit or more , I'm not sure that has happened this year ... Don't need homeruns to score double digit runs , singles and doubles are just fine ... Ryan wasn't on his game tonight , in the month of May he only allowed 6 earned runs in his starts , he almost matched that in 1 start in June ... Nice start to the 4 game series , glad the bats came alive ...

    15 million probably tgecgoing rate if he continues to pitch effectively ... 1 clunker of a start , some 5 inning starts and lately he been going 6 or 7 innings , managing his pitch count better by throwing first pitch strikes ...
