    Dream or no Dream, this will never happen ... The front office is not to be trusted with their pitch to the fans and season ticket holders ... They will be competitive but not contenders unless they get some top quality pitching , pitching and more pitching ... I agree the twins are stronger at starting pitchers entering 2023 but are just slightly above average ... I know it sounds negative but it is reality ... Would love to have a star studded roster but we'll have to keep dreaming ...

    The question is does it make sense ... To me it makes no sense , he's lefthanded in the box and we are already too lefthanded , he strikes out alot , if the yankees didn't want to keep him , I'm definitely not interested ... Three strikes and your out ...

    It would be nice to find some permanent leftfielder to fill the position ... Haniger has been a solid player and would contribute to the lineup if he could remain healthy ... It's another discussion of leftfielders , a couple of days ago we were talking about renfoe ... I sure wish our new trainer can keep the players healthy and playing ... The roster is full at the moment and more players are likely to be non tendered , pagan does not deserve a roster spot , Megill has talent but not consistent , garlick was signed but should be taken off the roster , Contreras should be also be off the roster ... Urshela had a good season but we have the depth , I like him but it's not my decision ...

    Good analysis ... Makes good sense and I wish the front office has the sense to make the wrong moves the previous seasons go away and make some right moves this off season and put some excitement back into the twins ... Speed kills ...

    It's really no debate , they are both talented players and glad to have them ... Let's hope they have long healthy careers and battle their butts off for a twins world series victory ...

    We need a bullpen like the nasty boys of 1990 Cincinnati reds ,,, Or the 2014-15 Kansas city royals world series Champs of 2015 ... Those were some awesome relief specialists and they wouldn't have won a world series without them ... I have been trying to figure out why our front office can't seem to see the light and assemble a bullpen close to those ... It's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Since sano is fresh in everyone's memory , it is definitely a YES he was a disappointment ,,, Either there was nothing between the ears as he spiraled downwards in hitting and never fully adjusted , getting demoted back to fort Myers was the biggest degrace a player could receive ... Maybe molitor was right , most likely he was , I'm sure he seen alot of player's in his time do the same thing and ended up a bust ...

    Good Wright up ... Heck of alot of names on the list to consider , they will protect the obvious arms and position players and add to 40 man roster ... They will obviously lose some players in the rule 5 draft that will be talented for another team ... Seth , Do another write up after the rule 5 is in the books and see if twins fans agree with our FO ....

    They did pay for an allstar in Lopez with the prospects given up , he just failed to live up to any real value for the twins so far ... Can the FO really be that good at recognizing talent , I'd say no , they looked at a small sample size of Lopez's career and shot a wad at acquiring an allstar when his career told a different story .... Let's hope the trade works out and he can get back to being an allstar performer ... We need pitching but the FO just doesn't seems to know the right talent to bring in and make a perfect fit .... It's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    When did they start voting for a silver slugger award ... I always thought if you had the highest batting average at a position you won the award ... Have I been wrong thinking this ... Nice going major leaguer ( arraez ) ... It's a pleasure watching you play and hit ...

    Ah , the good old days when you knew who played for whom .... It is getting difficult for a team to have an identity , far more difficult for the fan to cheer for a player they perhaps like if they keep shuffling him out of the everyday lineup or back to the minors ... Free agency also contributed to this , year to year you never know who is going to be playing for who ... It has definitely confused the casual fan and us real fans have to follow closely on transactions on who's playing where ... Ah the good old days .... Great memories of great pitching staffs year after year ....

    Do we need a big splash in the bullpen ... See Kansas city royals bullpen in their world series run of 2014-15 ... It was the best ever in my opinion and that is what we need ... We need some help and yes it would be nice of the FO would reverse there course and find top proven bullpen arms ...

    I have no confidence in the FO that they will add top relievers early in the off season and will continue to be buzzards and circle the pile of free agents with below average arms at the end of the off season ... It's been their MO almost from day one and yet they think they are the smartest ones in the room ...

    I agree it was a good analysis , let's hope their plan is revised this off season and a better outcome for 2023 is on the horizon ... With short starts they need bullpen pitchers to throw muti innings , plain and simple ... Depth in muti inning pitchers to piggyback the starters ...

    It's nice to have a plan implemented but if the plan is not successful you can change the plan midstream and go to plan B ... They did not ... They plan looked good at the beginning and the twins looked like they were going to distance themselves from the rest of the division ... they did not ... the plan soured and we played below 500 the rest of the year ... We may of found some useful players in 2022 for 2023 , they did... tap into that talent and make them better for 2023 ... That is to be seen ... It's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    There is no spell to be broken ... They FO might have an eye for talent but It's definitely coaching and their inability to take a talented player and tap into that players talent and make him better ... The players make all the strides to get to the show and then our current FO and coaches are comfortable with average players , TO TAP INTO THAT TALENT WE NEED BETTER COACHING , don't see it changing as all the coaches are coming back ... It sounds like I'm negative but it's really reality ... It's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Well we now move into stage 2 of the sonny gray prediction ... Now that the FO office has extended sonny Gray's option and he is a twins pitcher currently for them in the 2023 season ... Now we will wait and see in the next week or so if sonny gray will request or demand a trade ... It's 50 / 50 now ... I'm still predicting sonny gray will request a trade and though we wouldn't get a petty type pitcher in return we would get some good prospects as every team needs or wants pitching ... I love my twins but if I was considered an ace I would not play for the twins plan of the FO and manager ... I'm just having alittle fun here so don't take it seriously , but I could be right and he has every right to request a trade ... It's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    I would say its dead in the water and just PR to the fans and season ticket holders ... Why would he want to spend big on a long term shortstop when we supposedly have prospects almost ready to fill the position , they had there chance last year to sign him long term and gave him 3 years with opt outs after the first year ... Never have I heard JP say he wants a winning caliber baseball team since the argument of a new stadium ... We have the talent to exceed and contend but are held back with the FO's and managers plan ( Plain and Simple they lack the leadership and focus on strategy to play the game ) .... The Donaldson signing was a head scratcher to me after the bomba squad of 2019 , did we need a hitter , NO , we needed pitching , the Correa signing allowed us to dump Donaldsons contract and sign Correa and let correa go after 1 season and the twins save money on Donaldsons contract in the long term ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Lots of twins catchers on the past , Butch baby face Wynegar first popped into my mind when I read the article , Redmond was good , ( defensively and a leader on the field ) , butera (both of them , Dad and son ) mitterwald and roof ,,, We've had a bunch , borgmann , Reed , Laudner , ( 00 what's his name ) and I'm only mentioning the better defensive ones that others didn't ... What about lecroy , maybe not the best defensive catcher but fans liked him ... There's more , this is off the top of my head , I could look it up ...

    What I miss in baseball today is that nothing seems to matter in the game ... Strike outs , baserunning mistakes , missing the cut off man and catchers that can't block the ball , ( there are not alot of good catchers in the league ) , passed balls or wild pitches , the official scorer usually sides with the wild pitch when my eye test says a passed ball by yesteryear standards , defense is definitely lacking at the catcher position in the league and a catcher is considered a good catcher because he can frame a pitch into a strike , WHAT A CROCK ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Sorry nick I have to disagree that it's not a pressing need ... Maldonado is a very good defensive catcher ... Realmato is said to be the best catcher in both leagues ... What do they have in common ,,, They are both in the world series and are defensive leaders ... Catcher is a pressing need and jeffers is not a number 1 catcher... A team needs strong defense from catcher , shortstop and centerfield for these positions and quality pitching would help too ...

    I don't know what to say that I haven't already said ... We need strength at catcher , pitching , shortstop and center field ... Catcher , below average for sometime and no depth , we should have picked up a good defensive catcher at deadline but the smartest FO in the room depleted our prospects on injury prone pitching again ( looked good on paper ) ... Pitching , able to be competitive and win games during the season but not post season playoffs games ... Shortstop , most likely gone but replacements prospects available if they can stick at the position ... Centerfield , one of the best defenders when healthy ...
