    It's one thing not care but the milestone numbers are fraudulent. It's more likely he's used PED's at least since the minor leagues than it his he started after going to the Rangers.

    I'm going to say anything under 80 wins would leave me disappointed in how the season turned out. I'm not one of those 'who would have guessed this team' even if the final record is a significant improvement from recent records.

    'Kind of' is being generous. If he truly dislikes so many things than that speaks for itself. If he's being a jerk simply to get under peoples skins that doesn't help his case imo.

    On the roster no but the team will have to decide what to do with Vargas. If Mauer isn't standing in the way right know it's looking more and more like he will soon enough.

    Illinois is ranked 5th in the country. I don't know if it's just a matter of having so few losses or their actually a CWS contender. It does show the B1G is improving but unfortunately the Gophers seem to be heading the other way.

    Not 2009 but he's really fallen off big time. Now he's not even getting on-base at a good clip and the swing looks slow and weak like last season.

    The 'Mediocrity of Mauer' could be an interesting column for the right person. One that's going to look objectively and not be a jerk for the sake of sparking outrage.

    Does it matter not really but I think they could easily stand at attention for two and half minutes and not have their pre-game routine affected.

    He was showing encouraging signs until falling back into bad habits or possibly a comfort zone. Honestly, the bat looks slow. I don't know if it's pitchers figuring him out and Mauer needing to adjust or something else. I do think moving him out of the 3 hole is warranted at least for a couple of games.

    They work for the same people have run Baltimore into the ground. The same people that John Angelos gives millions of dollars to because they supposedly care about the poor.

    I wasn't talking about over a full season. Even bad teams have good stretches. The Twins at some point will have a better 12 game stretch.

    A 7-5 record is barely better than mediocre.

    The playoff futility is so hard to ignore. A 6-21 record and half of the wins game in the first playoff appearance. I don't see why Ron Gardenhire can suddenly figure out how to manage when it counts when he's never done so before.
