  1. Joining? I believe there was an article in early May. Should Kepler have stayed at 3rd. Where he questioned whether he should have scored after a pitcher was injured.
  2. Yeah but if Max is injured. Why is he in the OF? He will get hurt even more playing out there. Are they trying to sabotage Kepler like they did Kirilloff?
  3. I can see clearly now. The rain is gone. But it's a little fuzzy on why It's become a thing
  4. I still want to know why the year 7510 and 8510 in that song? I guess Zager and Evans liked to change it up.
  5. "What does it mean to manage the game by feel?" Is that a real question? There have been numerous times this year alone. A LH hitter will be having a SOLID game. Only to be PH for as early as the 5th inning because the opponent brings in a lefty. Only to have the same guy who pinch hit in 1 advantageous AB have to face a RH pitcher for 1 or 2 AB now at a disadvantage. Margot or Farmer should NEVER ph for Larnach or Wallner this season. All last year when Buxton and Correa were both playing hurt and not performing very well they kept their high spots in the batting order. WHY? Is that what a good manager does? I'm not an anti Rocco guy. But those are just several examples. There are many more.
  6. Vs Sale I totally agree with all RH. He's extremely tough on LH hitters.
  7. 3 K's. I think he may have had 1 pitch in the strike zone. WOW!
  8. Hahahahahahaha. Good managers learn and adapt. Sometimes on the fly. Metrics, match-ups etc are all fine. But for a guy who played, he has no feel. When you keep doing the same things over and over even though they haven't worked and refuse to even add new wrinkles. That's just stubbornness. Or he is just simply, a yes man. Following orders. Either case. NO!
  9. Why? Is it a street light thing?
  10. Oh yeah it counts. The only positive will be a longer delay will probably knock Fried out.
  11. Margot watches his foul ball stay fair. Easily a triple. Makes third by stealing. But Margot won't win any fans doing that. Rocco won't mind though cuz he runs hard 99 times out of 100
  12. The bullpen not being an issue, has now been an issue for a couple years.
  13. Because he was exaggerating. He knows that Julien really makes that play 82 times out of 100. But hey. 82% is still a passing score. Isn't it?
  14. At the end of the season, if the Twins should find themselves behind Cleveland and KC can the Twins submit the LUCK data to the MLB office to overturn the actual results? If not. This should be addressed at the winter meetings. Love the Deserve-To-Win-O-Meter though.
  15. The good doctor suggested that Ryan's injury was from overuse and could have prevented if Varland was in the pen. It was in the Varland to the pen article.
  16. Kirilloff and Ryan are 2 that you've commented on how the Twins handled them. Kirilloff forced to the outfield and Ryan overused due to not having Varland in the pen. So now you advocate rushing back Correa and Buxton.
  17. So because they changed the name from Senators to Twins that triggers an automatic disconnect from the past. The Senators weren't bankrupt, nor were the Dodgers or Giants. Not sure about the A's. All those clubs celebrate their past champions and players. I lived in the Bay area and saw multiple games where past champions were celebrated. I went to a Padres game where they celebrated Ted Williams who played on the PCL San Diego Padres. Same for DiMaggio who was honored by the Giants from his days as a Seal. No affiliaton at all with the Giants and a Yankee to boot.. So celebrate the past, precedent or not.
