    The Francona angle is not very good. He's not going to come cheap. And the Twins aren't going to fire a manager under contract for 1 more year and turn around and hire a more expensive one. That would NOT be considered right-sizing.

    One of the best players in baseball. What does that mean? Is that top 10, top 25, top 50? You stated at one point that he was 6th in Woba for major league SS. To me that means there were 5 SS better than him. That's just 1 position. He had a real good 1/2 season. But then in my estimation, he blew it. Team leader didn't run out a game ending grounder. After telling teammates to basically suck it up and play hard. No excuses. What was his excuse?

    "Vocal minority." Rocco has the ability to keep an even keel, make calculated decisions and position players for success. In my opinion, its another fluff piece by Mr. Taylor. And it's not even factual.

    He was out at 1st for not even jogging. Once it was misplayed, he picked up the pace. Inexcusable.

    You mean team leader Carlos Correa? The guy who is quick to point out the shortcomings of some and then jogs out a grounder to end a game only to turn on the "jets" for the last 15' after it was misplayed. That Carlos Correa?

    I saw on Friday night, game 160 that Orioles rookie Cowser was playing in his 152 game. LH hitter. Obviously he didnt have much experience facing LH pitchers at the major league level before this year. Same for G Henderson last year. So not every team is following that same trend. There is probably a sizeable disparity in their splits but not large enough to bench them every time the O's face a lefty.

    Really? What kind of offer do you see the Twins making to keep Kepler?Do you think Max would accept some low-ball offer because he loves Minnesota so much? Everyone knows how much you love him. You thumbs down any and all comments that pertain to him in a negative light. He's not the same player he was and he's not going to play for free. The only way he's back is if not one of the other 29 teams has an interest in him. I'm not saying he wouldn't make a good depth piece. But the Twins aren't paying 10-12 million for a depth piece.

    I just figured it had to be Rocco since he offered throughout the AB. I take the credit to Rocco back. 😄 Bunting on 3-2 is pretty ballsy of Vasquez. If he fouled it off, it would have been a long walk back to the dugout.

    Twins RH pinch hitters vs LH pitchers are hitting .147 on the season. Twins LH hitters vs LH pitchers are hitting .225. That's not really good at all. Yet it's nearly 80 points higher than the pinch hitters. And why does Rocco wait till the seasons nearly over to attempt to move a runner over to 3rd via a bunt with no one out? I loved that call. Yet it took till the 158th game for him to figure it out! 🤔

    Has Rocco called for a bunt one time in the 10th inning of a tie game with a runner on 2nd base no outs like he did with Vasquez in the 7th inning tonight? I don't recall once. Especially if you're the home team playing for a run. I don't get it. Now in the 158th game. Wow. Yeah they broke it open. But he was playing for a run.

    Correas gaffe was terrible. He's not scoring on a base hit the way he's running. Plus he can see the play. Karma!

    The interesting stat they showed before the game was rh ph vs lh pitchers were hitting .147. Lh hitters vs lh pitchers were hitting .225. So are the Twins using historical analytics or current season totals. That makes some of Rocco's moves even more puzzling
