  1. And Margot will hit .375 as a pinch hitter. It's a lock
  2. And if this was Santanas stats you'd be saying how lucky he was April through July and that the real player was who we saw in Aug and Sept. Your love for Lewis Wallner Miranda is obvious. You like to bend the metrics to prove it. Santana for 150+ games at 38 probably won't work. But he still hits lh well and Miranda hits rh pretty good. I don't think Miranda at 1st base for 150 games is the answer either. It's all going to depend on money anyway. So I doubt Santana will be back. But if he were re-signed I could see Miranda getting the bulk of starts with Santana as a solid option vs lefties and as a defensive replacement. When Santana starts vs lh Miranda as a dh option along with Jeffers if Vasquez were catching would still give Miranda the vast majority of games played. That in my opinion would be the best way moving into 2025.
  3. Fielding % is a crazy stat in the sense that official scorers tend to judge a play or player with their hearts. Too much bias. Especially today's game. Players complain and even submit appeals to have errors changed.
  4. AK is a really humble young man. He took time to reach out to several of his teammates before it became official. It is sad day when someone that young has to walk away from something they love so much. All the best to Alex and his family.
  5. What is their record vs AL Central? It's probably the opposite.
  6. This has been a game void of fundamentals for the Yankees. The defense and relievers have been atrocious. Why does a catcher need to reach for pitches. How is it that the Twins can't beat this crappy team?
  7. Cole easily threw an extra 20 pitches in the 5th
  8. Glove. Judge missed an easy liner. Volpe errant throw and Cole not covering 1st. But Rizzo was lazy on that too
  9. Around 700,000,000 dollars worth of errors.Terrible defense. Can't give 3 extra outs to any big league team.
  10. The Yanks come out swinging.
  11. And it cost them a run. And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.🙂
  12. All year you have been saying this. He can get hurt just as easily playing 1st. In fact his shoulder injury happened when he dove for a line drive down the 1st base line at the end of the 23 season. The only way anyone gets back to 100% is by not playing at all. And even that's not a given. Lewis got hurt, ACL I believe while going to get on a plane. The Twins didn't sabotage Kirilloff's health by putting him in LF as you have often stated.
  13. I always liked the Yankees. The were like US Steel or GM. They stood for excellence. What i could not stand were their overbearing no-it-all fans. Same as the Red Sox fans. But hey. You've got to give them props. Just don't give them a ball.
  14. I didn't hear or see anything from the booth. Nestor might have had good history vs Ohtani and Freeman before. That's the only thing that I can think of
  15. He had the other lefty warmed up too.
  16. Intentionally walk Soto to face Judge worked. Intentionally walk Betts to get lefty lefty match-up didnt
  17. After that I sure hope it goes 7
  18. He got Ohtani. But not Freddie
  19. I wonder if Rocco would have ph Margot there for Ohtani
  20. Why did Rizzo stop? It would have been close.
