    The 2023 playoffs I'll give you. In 2023 and 2024 the two are separated by less than 50 innings. Over 2 full seasons. Youre just arguing without showing any facts to back-up your statements. Game 1 start to Jeffers. Game 2 start to Vasquez. for 162 games. Yeah. I'm sorry to question your overwhelming knowledge of the game.

    Show me the Depth chart the Twins use that has Vasquez at #2. Hey if they go in alphabetical order Vasquez might be #4 on that chart.

    All offseason you have been advocating for Keirsey. What do the Twins do? They sign H Bader. It's not a surprise. This is what the current FO has done since they've arrived. So that leaves him out until the inevitable injury that all teams have. Miranda is your man for 1st base. But according to you and a lot of TD posts, there's like 15 guys vying for 1st base. Lee or Miranda can only play 1st base according to you or it would be complete mismanagement on the Twins part because they're coming off injuries. Then it's been mentioned in articles that Castro, Lewis, Julien are viable options there so they don't break down. Keaschall (sp) can only play there after coming off TJ. Then theres Gaspar and now France. It's also been mentioned that Larnach and Wallner should grab a 1st baseman glove and start working out there too. Severino. That's 11 and I'm sure I'm missing some. And you just want to hand 2nd base to Martin based on his overwhelming success in 2024. Id love to see Martin succeed but I'm not just willing to sink or swim with him as the Twins 2nd baseman till he's not. I get it.

    Because he's not the #2 catcher. When a team has only 2 catchers, and they're as close to 50-50 as you can get. And I concur with your last sentence. Spared me having to type that.

    And you've been selling us all how H Bader is right up there with Willie, Mickey and the Duke. And that he's a 4th outfielder and that Vasquez is the #2 catcher. And so on

    It's that NY connection thing. And yet both NY teams didn't have any use for a cheap bona fide ML player for more than 1 year. In a similar role.

    Another head scratcher for sure. He could hit .800 in ST and he still wouldn't head north with the big club. But I'd love to see how he handles MLB caliber pitchers for a month or so.

    Once again. Those are all assumptions from you. And you never answer my questions. Just broad brush strokes and saying you have common sense. Keaschall being slated to have TJ surgery is totally different than Miranda. If Miranda was going to have TJ surgery he would NOT have been on 3rd base. And then you said that his shoulder injury caused his back injury. Wheres your proof? And now you're talking about Mahle and Paddack. When did Falvey have either one of those guys pitch when they weren't physically capable. I'm sure he was hoping that they would get healthy where they could contribute. For every Flaherty there are 10 Mahles. This is not unique to just the Twins. Guys you hope can regain previous success. Sometimes they don't work out. That's not mismanagement.

    Hahaha 😆 Thats rich. Where is YOUR proof that Miranda was mismanaged? If Rocco asks Miranda to play 3rd and Miranda complains that it's putting too much stress on his shoulder and Rocco puts him there anyway, I would agree with you. But WE have no idea if that's the case. And there have been a rash of back injuries MLB wide that from what I've read can be attributed to swinging the bat. You are flat out stating that Miranda was compensating for his shoulder pain which led to back pain. Which in turn led to him slumping at years end. Where's your proof?

    In one sentence you say the Twins mismanaged Miranda and in the next you're hoping that Lee will somehow manage chronic back pain on his own. You claimed last year how the Twins mismanaged Kirilloff by putting him in LF for a few games even though his shoulder injury happened at 1st base the previous year. I have no idea how Kirilloff injured his back and I'm not going to pretend to know. Making accusations without proof doesn't make one right. Hypothetical question for you. If Buxton or any player for that matter is nursing an injury but tells management they're good to go and then does more damage to land on the IL, does that fall on management or the player?

    My uncle Jack is one of the nicest guys in the world. Every time I visit his house he hides something of mine. Shoes, keys, sunglasses. When i leave i have to search them out. If you went to his house he'd do it to you. He's not a jerk. But those are examples of a jerk move. Oh and 549 writers thought Ichiro deserved a HOF vote. It was that 1 genius, brave, forward thinking writer who thought like you.
