    Such great new partnerships..... that they can't say who it is. Pohlads are liars and losers. I can't see how any player would want to be on this team, now, unless they are desparate, like a Gasper or Julien, and there is no other option.

    Yes he did. Ran for Lee in bottom of the 10th and played third in the top of the 11th. Lewis will be fine. He doesn't do slumps. Plus, he hasn't been a savior to replace for over a year now. Sad to see Sands' digression. Martin needs to stop trying to be a hero all the time. He sure makes bad choices.

    Pitching matchups. Bader Monday - three run homer. Kepler played Tuesday - double and a homer. Bader 1/4 on Wed. Day off yesterday. Right handed started tonight……

    Whatever, dude. Count me as one tired of mediocre aging out of shape fat guys taking up roster space. It is a sad story for a MLB baseball team when there is a spot on the roster for a guy that has no chance of being part of the future when the only thing left for this team this year is to source out players that can be.

    Strikeouts and balls over his head to the wall so far. Perhaps that is why. Rakes in AAA, but can’t bring it to the show. Fitting for the Twins.

    Sugarcoat it all you want - this guy sucks. Ultra wild. He was lucky he didn’t blow the lead with all the contact and lack of control.

    The biggest failure was Correa himself. Couldn’t stay on the field and didn’t provide superstar consistency offensively. All the other things mentioned are true as well, but Correa didn’t provide close to the value paid.

    Good to know. I just never saw those. Perhaps I just saw edits. If you have links, please message me. Thank you. It will be interesting to see what Twins fans do on return visits. Watching the majority BOO Altuve but embrace Correa was always a hypocritical conundrum.

    I don’t think he has. I heard more than one of Correa’s interviews/rants. He was never apologetic in the one’s I heard. Several interviews. Not once. Never admitted it was even done. Plouffe can’t rewrite history. If you are on the take, you are on the take. 22 or 26 or 18. You know what choice you are making. The blame is shared equally. All players got immunity and the testimonies were hidden. The Manager (Hinch) GM (Luhnow) and ownership became the scapegoats. Cora indirectly when Boston fired him as Manager. Blame? The fans, other than Houston and Minnesota, don’t pretend it was otherwise.

    ....for all of 86 games. Granted, not his fault, necessarily, that he couldn't play. This was bookended by 2023s .230 average and .711 OPS (and I thought you were an old school Triple Crown stats guy, and here embracing the newfangled OPS as the kicker) in 135 games and 2025s .698 OPS. And one of those 3 of the last 5 was with Houston. As players age, it seems it is most accepted to look more at more recent play than many years past as an indicator of future performance, along with the difficulties of staying on the field. But every year is a new year. Lots of career years happen in the 30s. Correa surely had his value. But $30+ million a year? The players seemed to embrace him as a leader, ignoring what many fans can't get past, but then, the players on the same team pretty much had no choice. Falvey had a love affair with him that was a bit over the top. It was his pet deal. Not just once either. And then, he closed the deal by getting a nothing back, really, and gave him another $33 million of Twins money to play for Houston the best he can. I knew a radio announcer once who's name was Ben Dover.

    Each trade is its own trade. Fun to link them, but they each stand on their own. Quick note on pronunciation: Eduardo Tait = “tie-eet", not “tayt" as many Twins folks are saying.

    Kruk was saying the Twins helped their production crew get it set up. 5 pitches - 3 outs. Made me sick. Not as sick as listening to that scum Falvey during the game, though.
