  1. Not defending him, but fans can be smarter than players, and often are. But fans should never be compared to the physical play of MLB players. Any player in any level of Professional ball should be able to easily scoop that grounder on that play. And they should all know what to do with the ball. Compared to his peers, that was an inexcusable boneheaded play, and Lewis is surely man enough to to own it and agree.
  2. Earlier in the season, yes, all about winning series’s. But with 50 games to go, and this many teams in it, that is a minimum must. Now, it will be about which team(s) can go on a meaningful winning streak. The rest of the series winners only will be watching on TV with the rest of us.
  3. That was the easy double play. He had two ways to complete the double play. And by several steps. Pathetic mental lapse.
  4. Lewis’ brain rolling down the edge of a razor blade is like a BB rolling down the middle of a 4 lane highway.
  5. Regardless of challenges, future ABS in effect has runners on first and second with one out. Wrong calls change the outcome of every game.
  6. This better work, Selton. Looks horrible on paper……..
  7. Rogers is so over. A lefty that can’t hold Naylor on.
  8. So many close batted balls. Lewis was so close. Two nasty Ks in a row on pitches out of zone.
  9. It seems the only way to beat this defense is to not give them a chance to touch the ball. Just hit it out.
  10. Today,💕💕 I LOVE FUNDERBURK 💕💕
  11. Me too. Scares me every time he is in the game.
  12. And that’s why the players matter more than the clipboard with stats. I always like the risk that works. I loved the move.
  13. Well excuse me. And thank you. Absolutely. Wolf, then. I don’t mind being wrong on my listening.. in fact, I love being corrected and making it right. Porter is crew chief, though, and could have not wimped out and made his call the call on the field. Regardless, Karma brought the subsequent popout and made call insignificant and not affecting the game.
  14. That ump (Porter) now soooooooo proud of himself. He gets to affect the game. [Edit: Wolf, not Porter] But nooooo….. karmic justice prevails and proves him wrong anyway.
  15. That low ball missed would have put Lewis on first with a walk. Should have challenged that. But really, shouldn’t have to challenge. This system can’t change to total ABS soon enough. (Good thing Lewis was late on the 3rd strike. He would have blown our last challenge)
  16. A homer with someone(s) on base would be nice.
  17. Seems? You know it never stops. You can stop it, though…… works great
