  1. Right. Ryan doesn’t deserve that chance at one more batter for the third out to have a chance at the win…..
  2. The first second half(ish) season Outman came up he was awesome. Kinda like Lewis……
  3. Do three nasty sweepers count as a White Castle? A sweeper is just a renamed slider.
  4. Was riffing on the halves (which weren’t halves. 65/35). So just have Joe start each season in May? Maybe June to power through an extended postseason. This is a new year.
  5. I only need to eat once a day, now. The older I get, the less food I need. Habitats are hard to change, but worth it. I don’t begrudge any avenue one uses to get there meat sack they live in under control. A couple of my nieces used them for two years, weaned the dose to none, changed there lifestyle and maintained since. But my sister in-law, their mother, gained weight on them! It seemed to be her ticket to eat more!
  6. That first half……. First half is 65% of baseball and the other half is…….
  7. Willpower, and eating less, and staying active are elusive behaviors for most. They always work, though.
  8. Because they ALWAYS make the right decision? It is just an opinion that can’t be graded at all of you don’t try them.
  9. Better to waste those homers and better defense in St Paul.
  10. Lackadaisical side-arm inconsistent floaters to first. Begging for something bad to happen.
  11. Add every distracting Audra bit! And those even step all over the game action.
  12. What’s the point of switch hitting if you can’t hit on both sides? At least they got a run for Joe. Make that 2.
  13. Ryan getting his usual run support. How about some, bats!
  14. Buxton scores from 3rd, too, if Brooks Lee’s back foot doesn’t get nicked.
  15. Tied for the last wild card! Take a picture of the standings. Maki: “With Kendry, we have a very specific roadmap for how we're handling his build-up. Coming off the hamstring issue early on, we committed to a four-day schedule. Because he's throwing on shorter rest, we are intentionally keeping him in that 45-to-60 pitch window. You saw it against Houston—he gave us 4.0 brilliant, scoreless innings on just 46 pitches, and we took him right out. We're not going to push him past that ceiling right now. It's about preserving the quality of that 97 MPH fastball and making sure he stays healthy for the long haul." Today was the 5th day since starting on May 18. He was at 45 pitches/3.0 innings today.
  16. Right. Based on pitching every 4th day. Today was the 5th day since starting on May 18. He was at 45 today. Maki: “With Kendry, we have a very specific roadmap for how we're handling his build-up. Coming off the hamstring issue early on, we committed to a four-day schedule. Because he's throwing on shorter rest, we are intentionally keeping him in that 45-to-60 pitch window. 17. Well, Rojas is 23 and Morris is 24. So does it then follow Shelton showed lack of confidence in the younger of the two by pulling Rojas and replacing with Morris? I don’t think Shelton is that deep. I do believe he hopes for Morris to be better. 3 walks, a hit, and an earned run while getting 2 outs and leaving with the bases loaded and going with the now struggling 35 yr old journeyman vet to escape the tragedy impending is not so scripted.
  18. Glad I can still disappoint your standards.
  19. Well , that is at least half of this pen. Yet, on the roster and forced to be used. Rojas started and went 46 pitches in 4 innings 5 days ago. Pulled at 45 today after 3. I don’t pull him to start the 9th. If he is limited at 50, (assumption), I at least give him the first batter. The pen is a total risk at any point. Tragedy narrowly averted. Perfect decision with hindsight.
  20. Horrible decision to pull Rojas. Know your pen. Rogers is getting blasted all year. Too late now. The hole is being dug.
