  1. Ha. And the Mets' two wins were against...... US. Sorry. Site info said it was never posted. Posted it repeatedly instead. No Delete option. Best I could do below. .
  2. Just not when we play them. Then every team not us always score 😇
  3. How many times do we watch a player the Twins trade come back to Target and either throw a Cy Young caliber game and shut down our bats, or has a heroic game at the plate and stuffs it down our throats? Seems like a lot. Bradley showed Tampa, eh? Poor Bradley. Why doesn’t it work for the Twins?
  4. Jeffers PB ON A STRIKEOUT that accounted for 3 unearned runs isn’t defense?
  5. Jeffers is calling a horrible game, getting run on, and giving up bases and a run a on a strikeout, How are at least 2 of the 6 runs not unearned? And any more scored this inning? I see the scoring fixed it now. All unearned in the second. Jeffers inning more than Ryan’s.
  6. Williams blowing up so bad made one just ignore how absolutely awful and inept that Lewis, Lee, and Buxton looked flailing away at pitches outside the zone and striking out horribly with the bases jammed. Gotta take em when they are handed to you, eh? It was a nice comeback win.
  7. A couple days ago the Saints had 5 homers and lost 10-6. 7 hits, total. One was a 2 run homer (Lewis’s only hit) The rest practicing hitting solo homers for the Twins. Lehigh Valley had 16 hits/ 1 homer. That pitching pipeline, you know.
  8. Buxton was unlocked in pretty quickly again. Lee is terrible, and who thought he could accomplish a delayed steal of home and called that play? I guess Banda is the guy the Dodgers knew to let walk. The guy with all the late game experience was passed on twice Sunday (not that his horrendous performance has made him a go to). Too bad for 3 great starts by Ryan, Bradley , and Ober were wasted by the blowpen.
  9. Intentional walk blows up on Shelton face.
  10. Buxton hot hitting didn’t last long. Another weak popup. At least he didn’t swing at a ball a foot and a half outside.
  11. Shelton must have been brain dead to send Morris out for a second inning after throwing 28 pitches and getting lucky to get out of the 8th.
  12. That didn’t age well the last 3 games. Streaks can hide a weakness for a spell.
  13. This team is no longer painful, because failure is expected. Funderburk won’t have any control and if he succeeds it will be luck. The bullpen is going to give up runs. Lee just doesn’t have range, Wallner will strikeout. If you expect them to lose, the pain goes away. All bats striking out looking horrible in the bottom of the eighth - that was still painful.
  14. I hope you all got a picture of the standings when the Twins were 11-7.
  15. Agreed. I wouldn’t call Duran a failed starter, though. He was moved to relief by management to create less stress on his rehabbing arm, and never given the chance again to start, even though he expressed that’s desire for a couple years.
  16. Just another failed pitching prospect groomed by the Twins, and overrated attention by writers. Surprised?
  17. Pleasantly flabbergasted. Enjoying it while I can The bats scoring a lot of runs makes a 6.00 ERA for the game pitching performance look good? That’s some fuzzy, less than 90 mph, math. Gotta love it though. Scoring a ton of runs makes for interesting perspective.
  18. Has anyone looked at Kreidler‘s history? Yes, a fine defensive play today, kudos, but he has NEVER hit in the Bigs, and he is 28. Hasn’t hit in St. Paul either. This is the depth? The Saints hitting averages are overall pathetic so far. 6 hits go a long way when bunched together. 8-7. Pinch me.
  19. What do you really expect? Wallner is horrible. And not too smart. Buxton cratered. 4-0 lead, too. Toronto FO says “yup!” The Detroit series was just a dream.
