    I mean this as constructive criticism, you should look into using paragraphs it makes things much, much easier to read.

    In 2016 Mastroianni played in 7 games and 4 of those where he came in as a defensive replacement/pinch runner and all came near the beginning of the season. At that same time Walker was playing his 1st month in AAA and was hitting .231/.310/.462 thus far on the season.

    IMO batting Mauer after Sano makes zero sense. You want him on base for Sano. My lineup with these starters would be: Buxton Grossman Mauer Sano Rosario Dozier Kepler Castro Polanco

    Baseball in 1987 was much different than baseball in 2017. Winning a poor division in 87 meant you were one 7 game series away from the Series, it's a much different ball game today.

    You hit the nail on the head. This discussion shouldn't be about Mauer and Dozier's shortcomings, it should be about the young players on the team. While Mauer and Dozier are not world beaters at the moment they are are both better across the board this season than Kepler, Buxton and Polanco whom I think we all expected to take big steps forward this year. With the continued Mauer/Grossman bashing around here....would it surprise many people to know that they both have higher OPS than Kepler does?

    Good for both of them, well deserved promotions and a step closer to being in the big leagues. I will concur with most of you that it seemed to happen too late, but let's hope for similar results in Rochester.

    Is it wrong of me to hope that Big Sexy gets rocked tonight to the tune of like......1 inning, 8 hits, 7 runs? I mean, then of course I hope the Twins come back and win 10-9 and Colon decides to hang them up after the game or the Twins just DFA him and open up a spot for.......anyone else?

    I actually like the lineup. Your best OBP guy up first. Your hottest hitter 2nd. I'd rather see Rosario and Kepler switched but I can live with it. Sano hitting cleanup Buxton out of the 8th spot so he can actually do something on the basepaths if he gets on base without the pitcher hitting directly behind him. Polonco and Castro are interchangeable to me.
