    It's funny how much can change in 20 years isn't it? When they bought ESPN it helped their stock substantially as everyone wanted the ESPN was THE cable channel you had to have. Fast forward with everyone cutting the cords.....for someone who grew up on ESPN, it's sad....but understandable. People say they haven't watched Sportscenter or that Sportscenter isn't as good as it use to be, when the true fact is....why watch an hour long show, when you can see more in depth highlights you want to see on your phone/tablet/laptop/pc in a fraction of that time? What's really killing ESPN is the gigantic contracts they have with the leagues. They were always losing money on them, but got people to watch the channel. It will be interesting to see how they rebound because obviously they were not prepared for what has happened in the last few years.

    Meh. 10 walks to 8 K's in his last 3 starts which totaled 19.1 innings. I'm still not impressed with him.

    Tigers announcers can't believe the quality of pitches that hitters get these days, in their day throwing pitches like that to a guy like Dozier would result in a fine.

    That Slam wouldn't have happened earlier this season. Buxton laid off a really good slider on 0-1 and another on 1-1 to get ahead in the count and get a fastball he could drive. Very, very, very encouraging!

    Can't we even congratulate a player without ripping 2 or 3 others down? This site has become so pessimistic it's depressing. I wish Alex the best and i hope he succeeds. There are so many people so negative, that you are already blaming the pitching coach, the system and the front office for players for him no succeeding. I can't even com to this site without hearing excuses. Berrios walks two batters and gives up a gift 3-run HR today...........let's blame everyone in the system. Jose knows how to pitch. You don't blow by AA and AAA without knowing how. You don't throw 55 of 91 pitches for strikes without knowing how to pitch. Give the guy some time. We don't have to blame someone for everything bad thing that happens. ****. A pitcher has a bad start............we blame the front office, the manager, the pitching coach and then the catcher. They are human beings. The Twins organization is not the only one that young players struggle. Look it up. There are more players in the league than Michael Trout. I know all of you know what it's like to be a young twenty-something in a major league organization............but good christ. I love this site, but it's getting to the point where I can't even come here anymore and that's sad. Ugh. good night.

    I am predicting an improved start for Jose today. 7 innings, 1 ER, 8K. And looks like Mauer is having some quad issues

    I understand that, but it gets really old after each question there is the immediate "FO is trash, Mollie is clueless, there is no plan" response followed by 2-3 people with snarky jokes and then finally someone comes up with a quote or a reason or an explanation. I'm just saying it's OK to cut out the middle man from time to time and save the over used pot shots.

    Thank you for posting something of value rather than the used and abused "front office is trash and has no plan" automated response that is spewed out way too often.

    I agree very interesting place. Right now they are running Yelich-Ozuna-Ichiro. Both corners (Yelich and Ichiro) hit left handed and play the field better than Oswaldo. They only have 3 games in AL stadiums left on their schedule as well. Will be interesting to see what kind of playing time he gets.
