    Twins need to spend this money and maybe more, if the draft starts next year, then we need to buy players for the future. It never hurts to have a great farm system

    Did not do well in minors as a starter, much better after he was switched to relief. Unless Twins get desperate, do not expect they will send him down next year to change him back

    No, after the roid use, I cannot see his career being good enough. It is marginal now

    Small sample size and Correia and Saunders have been noted in other posts to have good Aprils. Will be more interesting at the end of June, when we may be able to draw some very good conclusions.

    Arcia may play center field for a day or two to rest Hicks. If Hicks struggles a lot this could become an issue in the next two weeks.

    Hendricks should be about out of chances. Hernandez can relieve, that is why he was kept here. 5th starter 2 weeks out, Hendricks needs to pitch, but still hope that either Gibson or Deduno is the next call up.

    This is a start. See what he can do. If he gets off to a good start, it will be a nice problem to have.

    I see the Twins face two more very good starters in this series. Twins had better start hitting or this could be another terrible April.

    Molitor needs to see where these Ft. Myers players are. Hopefully many of them will move up a level this year.

    Little chance of him not being claimed before the Twins, but they should go for it if the opportunity arrises.

    I am in the BPA camp, but would prefer a pitcher if very close. The Anderson argument is interesting as he seems to be pitching his way up the list. My way of looking at it is this, if it is very close and a pitcher is not #1, still take the pitcher. If it is clear in the scouts mind take the BPA.

    Great article, need to give these youngsters a chance, not total mess up their minds with pressure to succeed now.

    Hey, It was better than expected. That is the good side. Probably not going to get many more chances soon, but this one was not that bad. May turn out to be better than Henricks.

    Still in a tough place. Has many good to great players coming to play outfield, and Morneau slows no sign of slowing down. will see a month from now, where this is going.

    Florimon had a bad day. Today he looked just fine. He is young and under pressure to produce now. Twins are still making plays they have lacked the past couple of years and that will lead to improvement. It is early, but the Tigers and Baltimore on the road on not easy teams. Twins season will be determined by how well they do against other clubs that started as equal or worse.

    Too bad, not that Robertson had to go down, just that Swarzak will be a Twin again. He is on my list of players that should be gone on an improved Twins team.

    How long do we keep Arcia in Rochester if he hits .350? Parmelee will probably fold under the pressure. Extend Morneau if the price is reasonable(I have seen comments that his reps approached the Twins on an extension). If Parmelee can't handle the pressure here, maybe he is only a AAA ballplayer. There have been many of these in history.

    Nice to see the wins. Tigers will need bullpen help, but will probably get it. Baltimore will be another test, hope the Twins do well. First month will be somewhat telling. Hope the Twins are .500 or over at the end of April.

    Burnett was the correct choice to go. Twins have a number of relievers with stuff coming in the next 2 years, he was not needed.

    Probably the first guy up if a pitcher is needed for more than a spot start will be Deduno, If a player is needed probably Arcia if he gets off to a good start.
