  1. Hunter hits more infield flies than any player I have ever seen
  2. Tulo has a .820 ops on the road this year, the decline certainly hasn't shown up yet!
  3. gardy would have already been tossed
  4. How does the 3rd base ump miss that in the first place? You have like 3 calls to make all game max
  5. Gibson looks awful so far, clearly he is sandbagging as he doesn't want to get traded to Colorado,
  6. Living in New York for 8 years this is the first time I have had in unit laundry, I actually enjoy doing it now instead of hauling it down the street (first 4 years) or going down to the first floor to do it (last 3 years). Though I'm sure like $800 of our monthly rent goes to this "amenitie" All that is to say that doing laundry when it's in your own place? Piece of freakin cake!
  7. it certainly did, he never actually caught the ball.
  8. it would only top it if The Twins were playing the White Sox and Hawk managed to have a heart attack on air (but survive, because I sort like his whole bit)
  9. .670 career OPS, 85 career OPS+. .684 ops this year. Yawn. No range. Yeah keep trotting out more and more made up things regarding Escobar. Haven't seen a man crush like this on a crappy player since Nick N on Brendan Harris and Alaskan on Joe Dillon
  10. Joe west is such a fat piece of ****. I'm not saying I hope he dies of a massive heart attack, I'm just saying I wouldn't not celebrate the day.
  11. Detroit bullpen implodes again, looks like they are gonna be sellers if they keep losing, would be good, less competition for the wild card spot and easier match ups with Detroit late in the year.
  12. Escobar is not a good baseball player. He should not be a starting player for a major league team at any position. Especially a contending one, Punto or Derosa are a much better option. Rebuttal?
  13. Anyone else having issues with MLB tv on Xbox live? Was hoping to catch the game on the tv, looks like I gotta catch it on the laptop or iPad if not
  14. Oh snap! Brock given a Stone TOLD Stunner re: his Holliday example
  15. Brock's current status: [ ] not told [ ]sorta told [x]TOLD! [x] Stone Told Steve Austin
  16. Don't mind Brock, he continues to ignore the fact that EVERYONE acknowledges that Coors has an effect, then continues to ignore the fact that even his .819 OPS on the road makes him an elite SS, if not the best SS still.
  17. Gibson Santana Hughes May Is a pretty nice start to a rotation in 2016 IMO. You have guys like Nolasco, Milone, Hu, Meyer, Rogers and more battling it out for the 5th spot.
  18. The only way trading Gibson makes sense is if the Twins think Berrios is ready as of today to come in and take his spot in the rotation and be effective. I don't think that is the case, so I would be very very surprised if Gibson was moved period. I think a playoff rotation of: 1. Gibson 2. Hughes (has pitched very well as of late) 3. May 4. Milone Could hold their own.
  19. I dunno, again there you are getting 3 low cost players, May is a mid rotation guy, and Rosario looks like he could at least be a league average CF and has some pretty decent upside.
  20. I will give you 5:1 odds that Polanco doesn't put up a third of the career WAR that Tulo does.
  21. Hmmm. hyperbole much? If you wanna go with the "Tulo is gonna decline" meme, then at least have him move to third base.
  22. If you have this lineup for the playoffs, I think you honestly have as good a shot as anyone in the AL. The pitching would need to step up, but Gibson, Hughes and May at least have shown flashes of brilliance at times. 1. Dozier (30+ HR power) 2. Mauer 3. Sano (30+ HR power) 4. Tulo (25+ HR Power) 5. Plouffe (20+ HR power) 6. Hunter (20+ HR Power) 7. Rosario 8. Hundley 9. Hicks Arcia/Buxton as depth if needed.
  23. Gagne put up 14.8 WAR from 1987 to 1991. Basically 3 WAR a year, and had a .700 OPS. Not all star numbers but he was clearly better than anything the Twins have trotted out since.
  24. I have an issue with this, he has a .866 OPS this year, if that is a "decline" I am perfectly fine with it (Career .889 OPS guy). Additionally this year on the road he has a .820 OPS, which mirrors his career .819 OPS on the road. None of the above scream "decline phase" to me.
