  1. Gallo was more productive at Wallner’s current age.
  2. Its plausible that no outside help comes to 1B. Kody better raise his ceiling!! We need the production!! Julien can’t be counted on for much… and Lee needs to be replaced at SS asap with Culpepper. Lee and Clemons will make great bench backups sooner rather than later…. Please just go young and us diehard fans will understand the growing pains.
  3. He and Buck will be the catalyst’s of a great lineup. Health will bring alot off success!!! Lewis is primed for a great ‘26!!
  4. Sign up all the above and a few more. See what sticks in spring training and build something half way competitive. Conner Preillip just might be in the opening day bullpen 🤷🏼‍♂️
  5. This is a great exercise in playing a guessing game. I doubt Ryan has hit his ceiling yet and Buck is solid. He may be in the MVP talk all season long! SWR is a warrior and 💯 dedicated to improve his craft. He wont regress. Clemons is a wild card. He has his dads pitbull heart. He may just take another step and become better than average. Not sure how I would place a bet on his ‘26 success/failure rate. I believe there are a few others that may regress out of MLB in ‘26. Kiersey, Outman, Fitzgerald and a few other borderline guys may not be around long.
  6. Great article!! I would expect no more than 2 external guys are on the opening day roster as a bullpen guy. The FO wants it home grown and they will make it happen… for better or worse. We are going to see low budget baseball in ‘26. Player development, growing pains and a lot of exciting young players find their way or flame out.
  7. I sure hope ‘26 will bring an epic rookie class to MLB. These 5 may not all be in ‘26 but to get 6-8 rookies contributing this next season is gonna be way more fun to watch than Joey Gallo types. I don’t even care if the kids win more than 80 games….
  8. A lot of possibilities! It will be entertaining and frustrating if we see a ton of young guys get their shot. Could be epic. Most likely, it will get real messy. Gonna also have some great baseball going on in St. Paul. As a diehard fan, I would love to see a Twin win ROY! What I’d rather see is ALL the guys on the 26man hit their ceiling. I know thats alot to ask but geez, lets win some games in ‘26 and bring some younger guys up and put them in a position to succeed!!
  9. Great pick for BP coach. They will definitely be saving some games and I hope they allow Hawk to bring in some talented arms. I know thats asking alot!
  10. Circumstances are always a consideration when personnel are replaced. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I am a bit surprised Tingler didn't get Baldelli’s job.
  11. It will be nice to watch Lopez again if he is healthy for a full season. Festa will probs be moved to the bullpen unless he somehow is better with the secondary pitches. Ryan isn’t going anywhere. We got alot of depth on depth and some of them will be in the pen. I doubt there will be any significant trade until we get closer to July.
  12. I’d bet on neither May nor Hoskins because the payroll will be under 100M. I also don’t see any major trades. what we will see is a bunch of bullpen dudes sign for small prove it contracts and a vet C like Vasquez for about $3M. bottom of the barrel thrift shop shopping. Potential to have an epic rookie class is 💯 🏦
  13. That kid is gonna be in the show at some point. Its nice to see us drafting D over hit tool finally.
  14. Popkins and Varland both got ran out of town. I gave them both kudos because they are x twins, with both accomplishing more right after they left here than this FO ever thought they would. English can be a tough language…..
  15. Popkins is a fine coach. He just watched Louis Varland get 4 batters out in game 6 of the World Series. His guys have had a great post season run. Anyone bashing him now is just ignorant.
  16. Rocco has a winning record tho so is it really another Rocco?
  17. Defense and winning matters most. Gagne was the glue that won 2 WS championships. He is a clear #1 in Twins SS history. Everyone else can be tied for #3 behind Roy Smalley. C4 is no doubt a great player but not a great Twin. There is a difference.
  18. A lot of recent history between the Twins and Jays. I am rooting for them to take out the Dodgers. Gonna be a minute til the Twins can build a pennant winning club.
  19. I wasn’t aware that our farm system has to be restocked. However, Id take 3 of those pitchers and JWilliams or some kind of blockbuster trade. We might as well just burn it all down and start over….
  20. Just get some outs guys. Shorten the game. Command and control can’t be too much to ask for….
  21. The sad thing is, there are plenty more guys that could be mixed into this list.
  22. I agree @Cory Engelhardt without knowing what we get back to fill the roster is futile. We gave away too much talent at the deadline for too little return already. If all we got back was more middling but ready to be average prospects, why even have a team? Just contract. They need something to build around but this 2nd sell off gets rid of the core. Its a nice start to an exercise that hopefully will not happen….. but its the Pohlads still in charge….
  23. At this point, just buy back a bullpen guy or two and roll with a bunch of rookies. We aren’t getting the top tier FA’s and there is no reason to bargain shop for anyone.
  24. The Twins need guys that can hit and play D. Lee is slow but yet a decent utility guy with a bat that needs work (or better swing decisions) however you want to look at his potential growth. There is no way the FO signs a free agent SS. So Lee will play SS regularly until he either fails or Culpepper knocks sown the MLB door…. Probably by june ‘26.. Houston will need all of ‘26 to showcase his elite D in AA. If he hits above average there, watch out cause he will get fast tracked. Odds are 50/50 of that. Maybe. I would put my money on him for the ‘27 mid season call up. The twins are gonna be young, payroll limited and get beatup a bit next season. Lee will probs be in the infield utility roll by the end of ‘25 but like Castro, he will play almost every day.
