  1. See, they both have an option still, so both Miranda and Larnach can start at St. Paul. It’s not a need to have to trade either right now.
  2. That could be. We will see how Miranda looks too right? But I’d imagine another addition, or more, is coming. Cant completely count Larnach out either, for sure. But yeah, there are 40 man moves that can be made. That won’t be an issue whenever Lee is ready, whether it be opening day or May
  3. Possibly, Kirilloff could be that too if Santana is playing 1b. Or Julien could be that if Lee looks great this spring. I guess we will find out
  4. He is still only 28, and he walks a ton without striking out much. Again, I don’t expect him to sign here at all. But he would be amazing at 1b and be really great insurance in cf. Would also make it easier to trade a young hitter for pitching when the time comes.
  5. I’m curious why Larnach is the favorite here. Where would he play, and when (if everyone is healthy.) Of the players you mention, Martin makes the most sense, that said I’d argue the real favorite should be listed as tbd/not yet in the organization
  6. I mean, that’s probably what does happen. They also have young guys ready in both cf and 1b, which is a reason why he is still available. I wouldn’t at all bet or expect him to sign here, just stranger things have happened is all
  7. Bellinger is still out there. He would make so much sense here, for many reasons. I’m not certain on payroll, or if he would even want to come here, but man would that be a great bow on the offseason
  8. If only the billionaires could make even more money am I right? Then everything would be fixed
  9. I’d argue that not one of the things you mentioned here is true.
  10. I wouldn’t trade Buxton. But I get what you are saying. And I agree, if Bellinger is even 80% of what he was in 2023, that’s a VERY good player, regardless of his position. But yeah, if they were to sign him, then it would open up more options for trading young position players for a pitcher.
  11. I’d love Montgomery too.
  12. I’ll only say, if this were to happen (and I don’t at all expect it) to me it signals that they both A) Think Bellinger is a large upgrade over what they trust Kirilloff to be able to do, and B) Make it easier to trade a different young hitter, or prospects, for pitching. Bellinger easily could be our primary 1b against righties, as well as dh or outfield against lefties right?
  13. Erod is left handed. Santana is still a great fielder, and can play a lot, especially against lefties. Bellinger walks a ton and doesn’t strikeout much. And he has power. And he can play a good 1b and a good outfield, There is a fit here, if he actually would come here.
  14. See, I think IF this were to happen, it would more be for 1B and having the ability to back up/play CF. Certainly he can play in a corner as well, but I don't know that Kepler would HAVE to go. It also, arguably, would make it easier to trade someone like Wallner, or Kirilloff, or a few others for a starter. But yeah, I don't see it. Not even sure he would want to play here. Fun to dream though.
  15. Got it. Yeah I saw a random thing on instagram earlier that the Twins might be interested, but it didn't have an article or link. Probably just some random person throwing stuff at the wall. Would be fun though :)
  16. What was the source?
  17. SUPER excited to see how his 2024 goes. He has the tools to stick as a starter.
  18. They used 22 relievers (and 2 position players) last year specifically as a reliever or opener. I wouldn't be shocked at all if the number this year is north of that. But they have at least that number in guys who have some major league experience. That's a good thing too.
  19. This article is really going to look GREAT after they do add a playoff level starter. But it's good to have a good bullpen
  20. I'm curious why you have Jay Jackson not listed as a lock? Frankly, Okert is a lock too in my opinion, what with being out of options. The bullpen does appear strong, with a lot of depth.
  21. Once again, this episode was great. LOVE your guys' work! Jeremy throwing out the idea of Montgomery on a shorter term deal here. He wouldn't cost a draft pick (which helps) and having a decent-ish relationship with Boras certainly doesn't hurt. My question; do you think that rumor has legs? Thanks!
  22. I mean, they added Paddack on opening day a few seasons back. If you are Falvey, and you want moves to happen before opening day, there is still a month and a half to go right?
  23. I think SWR should be added to that depth list too, but I agree. It's something that managing innings will be important for everyone, but maybe especially Paddack. He is only getting paid 2.5 million for this season, so maybe that is part of the plan already, having him available for 100ish innings, and monitor them closely?
