I didn't see a current FWN thread, so I thought I'd start one, with this tidbit from yesterday's Game Thread.
Baseball-reference.com confirms that no player has maintained a 3.500 OPS or higher for more plate appearances in a season than Royce Lewis's 2. He's in elite company! (Company that includes King Felix Hernandez in 2008., with a homer and a sacrifice bunt.)
Here's hoping that this distinction doesn't exist for too much longer. Unless of course he keeps this up all season when he comes back.
