  1. The slow start should buy him another year in the minors. no need to bring him up until he's 22 years old. I mean, even that is young ..
  2. That's because all their money is locked up in a savings account paying 3% interest. Even at 36 million that's not much in the way of dividends. And that dividens is going to decrease as the CD matures.
  3. Like I"ve always said. A small town team can;t give one guy 36 million a year .. That money could have been spent way better.
  4. Someone should look up how much (lack there of) run support the Twins have given Paddock in the last 8 games or so. Pretty sure its pathetic.
  5. You would think the Twins could try one of them out at first base.
  6. Trade Correa and we could lock up Ober, Ryan, Duran and maybe ... O yah. Correa isn't tradable with his salary so we're stuck with him.
  7. Twins starters that make 4 innings with 2 outs be like: ****, I'm going to get yanked. Only way I could have made it through 5 was if I got a double play on that last batter.
  8. Would love for someone to solidify first base from inside the organization.
  9. Agree, along with several of the veterans we just signed. And this is the time of year I usually rag about Correa and his slow starts along with a small market team investing 36 million of its presious cap for one player but .. there's nothing new tobsay and it doesn't matter anyway.
  10. So Dan, I've watched the Twins since 1961.. Please explain why I don't remember as many injuries from the early days as I do today. thx
  11. This is my first year ever I have yet to watch a game live at this stage of the season. I don't even watch play by play on MLB. However I do check the box score every night along with the box score off all our minor league affiliates. Let's just say, I'm riding the bench right now.
  12. For anyone like me that played sports your body responds to activity differently based on a lot of factors. You have no idea of a player is in sink until he played a few innings and had a few bats.you observe which players has the hot hand. And then you never use analytics to remove him from they game and substitute with someone that yiubhave no idea had a hot hand or not or a hitter, isn't even really warmed up. That's why they call it coming in cold off the bench.
  13. I am so tired of the Twins thinking they are so analytically smart. Just play the damn game
