    Outside of an injury, I would be surprised if he called it quits. More power to him if he does. I think I prefer Bleacher Reports bold 2nd half predictions that he signs an extension (3/60) with the Twins.

    One or both would be good with me. I'll throw in T.C. Bear just in case he's a leftie. A $20 gift certificate to Pizza Ranch should cover it. In all seriousness. They need to make a change. Give the young guys as long a runway as you can and if they don't look like the answer there should be an option or two in the FA market this winter.

    Wallner (comp A 2019), Schobel (comp B 2022). Just recent Twins examples. I'm sure there's other examples from other teams. That's a lot you could lose trading Gray.

    I didn't expect much but neutral statements from Joe Pohlad. That is what I got out of the article. If he wants to take on more payroll maybe, they can trade for a player or two to jump start the offense. That's seems pretty unlikely, payroll addition and players. The offense imo isn't a parttime player away from being ok. What's with the trade Gray thing lately? The QO pick they would get if he left will likely be a comp A or B round. A comp A pick is a borderline top 100 prospect post draft day, that you have for 7 seasons. If that's not building for the future what is? Not to mention the large bump in bonus pool money. That's a pretty high bar to cross to make sense to trade for or away.

    Sounds like a great young man. Wishing him the best. I've been only to two MLB stadiums, Target field and Miller field. Target is 10X better then Miller/Am fam field. IDC where he plays. Sounds like he's got the raw tools to play all over the diamond.

    It would depend on who we would have to part with to bring him onboard. I'd guess a package that starts with Ober. They shouldn't have much interest in our position players. They're dealing with too many young position players as is. So probably a no ty in the end.

    Of course, they can. Will they? They are by far the best team in my notebook. But due to their lack of professional at bats bad teams win divisions too. If they decide to be professionals at their professions...It could be fun to watch.

    I respect your thoughts and opinion. You tend to be neither pro or against what's happening today and look at most things beyond only this season. IDK If you or others have heard whether he's doing the senior thing. More power to him. The lack of being drafted says something is going on there. If he can get healthy and show his talent more power to him, 2nd or 3ed round twin next year.😊 Just kind of riding it out. I think we missed out on a catcher or two but none the less I really like this draft. through 10 rounds.

    It only takes one. As of right now Ober comes to mind. I doubt there's any other 12th round or later picks with 2.9 WAR this season from that or any draft class since. It only takes one.

    No agruement here. I just like a young college senior with 55 arm and 50 defense. More arms works as well.

    I like this draft at this point. Winokur and Hall stand out to me on day 2. Winokur has all kinds of upside and add a tick or two to Hall's stuff and he could go from good to really good. If the pool money works out Questad is interesting as well. Grow 2 inches and add 20 lbs of muscle and he could be a starter as well. A lot of Marco Raya in size and stuff right now. Harry has that none 20-80 scale factor. He's just a good ball player. Haven't picked a catcher yet...How about Julian Brock from ULL

    Thrilled with day 1 picks. Not sure if they will need to find some draft pool savings or not because of the 1st two pick. If not, I'd like to see Cam Johnson or catcher with the next pick. The farm seems a bit light on LH starter prospects and catchers. A lot of the more exciting position player prospects the last few years have come in these rounds. hoping for more of the same.

    100% agree with this. Opening day starter to mistake in 4 months. Jeez let's give the guy a little rope. Time to chime in about Akili Badoo anyone?

    He hasn't been on the team for a year yet. Might be a little quick to pass judgement. Plus look at the guys drafted just before or after. He's player better then all of them except Neto. Sabato does have an .822 OPS with just 6 home runs. I think he's actually playing much better of late, and his fielding is .991. I'm probably jinxing him by saying good things about him, but I think he is improving over what we saw before this season.

    True, there's one or two more that could be there on the pitching side. I'm all for that happening.... Been Way to LONG since I felt that way about Twins pitching. Earned it even if they didn't get that honor...

    I stepped away for ten minutes and the game was over when I came back...6 runs is too much for this offence to overcome. Can't expect the starters to hold them under 3 runs every game...
