Sorry I don't think I agree with this creative suggestion just to play Erod. But I appreciate the suggestion. You would be benching a right handed hitter to add a left handed hitter and weakening defense at 1B, but improving defense in RF.

Interesting proposal So Lackey will play 3B instead of Lee or Culpepper, Tait will play 1B instead of Lewis and one of these catchers playing OF will bench Erod, Jenkins, Gonzales or Keaschall  Maybe Tinney can pitch. Sorry, I just don't see this happening.
