Atl-Tokyo, nonstop, with three young kids.

Ditto Det-Seoul, and MSP-Tokyo.

Multiple times.

I bet the shrimp on those flights is better than the one from Vegas-ChiTown

Repeat above, insert Colabello's name.
While you are probably right about both Colabello and Bernier, Colabello earned a promotion from his play in Rochester. So far, in limited at bats, I see an Independent League swing with little hope against big league pitching. However, Hunter Pence has made millions and his swing and balance at the plate doesn't look much better.

Didn't know you were a huge Yomiuri Giants fan. Cool.

You win. My longest flight was Ottawa (yes, the one in Canada) to Sydney but I didn't have any kids with me and had 3 seats to myself on the LA to Sydney leg

I wouldn't know. I was soaking in a Jack Daniels bath and the kids had about 2 bottles of sudafed each.

Ever been on an overnight trans-Atlantic flight with the peasants in coach? Yeah, not fun.

True Story... Many Many Years ago... I'm flying back from Baltimore... I got a window seat... I like window seats.

Garmin hadn't taken over the navigation world yet so I brought an atlas with to help me find my way around Baltimore.

As I'm watching the highways below I decided to pass the time by trying to follow the highways and rivers below on my atlas.

I'm doing great... I pretty much know exactly what cities we fly over... The skies are clear.

I'm concentrating pretty hard because it isn't that easy. But because I'm concentrating so hard... I don't say a single word to the guy sitting next to me.

We are over West Virginia... When I glance over at him... And he is looking at me with this WTH are you doing look.

I finally say something... Just felt the need to explain... "I'm actually following the highways... We are over West Virginia... Pretty desolate directly under us".

The guy says to me... "I like West Virginia... They keep to themselves". And then he turned away.

I was younger... He was about 120 pounds... I was like twice his size... I decided that... I should explain every thing I saw on the ground the rest of the way in retaliation.

There's another Ottawa?

My longest flight was Winnipeg to Melbourne, but we had to double back because I forgot my luggage. Boy was I embarrassed.

True Story... lots of words

When I was 17, I was catching a flight on a small Northwest plane from MSP-Fargo. The middle-aged guy next to me was reading manual or briefings of some sort. Every time he finished reading a page, he would meticulously tear it into many pieces before placing it in a small bag. I didn't say a word to him. He didn't say a word to me. The nightmares still come every once in a while.

That is actually pretty cool. Do you remember any of the star Japanese players or cast away Americans playing in Japan at that time?

Why do you want to make me cry? The strike of 1994 ruined Mack's MLB career. In my opinion he was the 2nd best hitter on our team in 1991, although Chili can make a strong argument for that distinction.

Totally agree. Mack was one of my favorite players, and he deserved to complete that year and keep up his momentum.
