What I most enjoy is seeing someone pitching - using the variety of pitches in a variety of locations and not worrying about the fastball and strikeouts.  We had this kind of pitching throughout the 50s -90s and then someone found the bottle marked 100 mph and suddenly the pitcher became the thrower and we forgot the basics.  Nice job Ober - keep it up.

Gotta hand it to Ober.

He’s the big engine that can’t…do anything we think he should be able to do…except get people out. Desire and competitiveness is so much easier to relate to than absurd talent.
