Dave Borton Verified Member Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Dead last, tied with the Reds, per the players. Interesting article from today's The Athletic on life on-the-road for an MLB player. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7217660/2026/04/22/mlb-player-life-road-cities-hotels-swag-mlb-mailbag/?unlocked_article_code=1.dFA.lSDT.Ms9qgC_wu-De&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta

The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I think they were tied with the Reds for dead last in road city, not ambience (from the article): The Cubs were first in stadium ambience, and the Chicago White Sox last. The Texas Rangers were first in facilities, and the Orioles last. The Padres were first in road city, and the Minnesota Twins and Reds tied for last. Look at that, Chicago both first and last in stadium ambience I'm guessing "road city" is code for "downtown nightlife" with a sprinkle of "weather" ashbury 1

It might be iconic, and is worth a one-time visit, but it’s a dump.
