Just a shameful performance from the refs tonight. Wyatt Johnston spears Kaprizov in the twig and berries with his stick and no call.

Oh right.

 

I should post here, instead of the Twins-Seattle game thread...

 

I just wanted to point out the go ahead goal was a power play for a call of too many on the ice. There's a joke somewhere there...

Ps. I also wished to ask how they decide who serves the time in the box?

I assume they leave it to the team penalized, who invariably choose the player slow to get off, as he's tired anyway?

Avs tomorrow night.  This series should be really, really good.

Game 1 will be interesting.  The Wild just won a war...did it tire them out or sharpen their resolve?  Did blasting through the Kings soften up the Avs?

I think what happens Sunday night is going to be a really good indicator.

As of yesterday... Brodin out for Game 1 (and not traveling with team to CO, so probably G2 as well), after blocking a shot (lower body injury); Erickson Ek may or may not be out/travel after hitting the sideboard in Game 6.

Probably not the smartest move to start that next series spotting the AVs a 3 goal lead.

So....not sure that game was an indicator of anything other than answer the question "What would an NHL playoff game look like if everyone but the goalies did cocaine beforehand?"
