Yeah, I am at a loss why there's so much love for Caleb Williams. 58% completion percentage is a giant red flag. I think the shelf life of Ben Johnson is going to be really short as a HC. They also benefited from a last place schedule last year. I don't think they're going to do nearly as well this year with a 1st place schedule.

From your lips to the football gods' ears. No Micah Parsons for at least the 4-6 games of the season, if not longer. Their WR room is by far the least talented in the division. And frankly I don't think Matt LaFleur is a good HC. 

The Caleb love is based on the small sample at the end of last year where things seemed to click.  I'm not sold on him, but it isn't the Bears offense that I'm worried about and actively betting against for a repeat performance.

So the 49ers owner John York was arrested in a Cleveland trailer park for prostitution.

I can't imagine any reason a billionaire from San Francisco would go to a Cleveland trailer park unless it was to meet with someone underage. Speculation I know, but I haven't seen it speculated in print yet and I'm already building myself up to be furious if this is found to be accurate and people are helping him cover it up.

You must have missed the memo...in today's US the fantastically wealthy can do whatever they want including children.  Mr. Epstein and his friends proved this.  Laws only bind the little people.

And the case has already been resolved? This happened yesterday, he has already pleaded no contest and everything is over and done with?!?! 

This is literally the name of the task force that set up the sting:

Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force

And yes, a Google search for this task force shows an article from last December, they do target people seeking minors. Though from this, most who were arrested were not.

But with this research I do feel better about any insidious details being covered up. If you're a law enforcement officer working on this specific type of task force, I think it's unlikely EVERYONE would keep their mouths shut. They surely feel just as strongly about getting rid of predators as the rest of us do or else they'd be doing other cop jobs. 

But still, even if he had a reason to be in Cleveland; at trailer park? And not a more above-board and less risky high-end escort in a hotel room? Doesn't add up.

So Will Levis was cut loose just prior to his fourth year. Looks like McCarthy and Anthony Richardson are going to stick with their original clubs despite neither team seeming to have much interest in keeping them. Maybe due to an inflated perception of value due to draft position? 

The NFL should start being proactive about these 'bust' type QBs because there are simply not enough good QBs to go around and this league wants to expand. And these' 'bust' type of QBs have been paying off quite frequently after bouncing around the league. Maybe from just getting out of their current situation, maybe just learning something new from someone else or maybe from getting humbled and learning how to play QB instead of relying on god given talents. Doesn't really matter, we're starting to build up enough case studies to see this is a usable source to find QBs. And not just starters like Darnold, Mayfield, Smith, Jones and Willis but capable backups like Winston, Mariota, Wentz, Bridgewater, Trubisky and Rudolph; the league needs way more of these guys too.

I don't think you can incentivize teams to move on from these players, but there should be some kind of effort to get them out from being buried on a depth chart getting no meaningful reps and reallocating them to a new spot where they can get a fresh start and aren't constantly asked about not living up to their prospect hype. Maybe it's an overaction and having these guys wait 4-5 years to get a fresh start instead of 2-3 years isn't that big of a deal.

Anyway, just brining it up because I once again read about expansion and thought how ludacrous it is considering there aren't enough #2 QBs to go around let alone starters.
