Why is Pete Carroll continuing to do this? The Raiders are a lost cause

He didn't sound like the same sharp and thoughtful Pete Carroll I remembered in that pre-half time interview.

Also, Bronco fans booing the tie score at half time? Uh, sure, it's the Raiders, but exactly what has this franchise done recently to gain that kind of superiority complex? I'm just going to go ahead and presume Sean Payton's un-earned smugness has rubbed off on the fan base.

The reality is he’s 74 years old… I admire and strive to be physically fit like he is at that age, but the brain has other plans

They are 7-2 playing a bad team, and look bad. I can see the booing. As for Carroll, some people have no identity outside work.

This kid isn't gonna last long in the league at this rate.

I was so happy when my son quit playing. It's hard to understand why anyone who can, still let's their kids play this sport. Dudes are too big and strong for they body.

Gads, that's honestly terrifying. I haven't watched a single Giants game but is his line crap or is he reckless? Or is it, as much as possible in the NFL, just dumb luck?

The line is bad. But it's not just that.

Lasted longer than I thought, even.

I can't believe McDaniel lasted longer.

Agreed with you both. I thought Daboll was going to be let go a month ago... And I thought McDaniel was going to be the 1st HC fired this season.

Others that are on a scorching hot seat... CLE Kevin Stefanski (for his sake I hope they do fire him so he can get out of that hell hole) CIN Zac Taylor (dude has always held back the Bengals from being good) LV Pete Carroll (why is he even doing this?) ATL Raheem Morris (extremely disappointing year for the Falcons)

Taylor has definitely held that team back.

On a different topic.... We signed two Indy players who aren't as good for us, they signed our guys who are better for them.... There a coaching issue or several here. In fairness, one is hurt for us....

Taylor seems like an obvious one to go - he lost the locker room. Have coaches come back from that? I like Stefanski but he's a bit overrated as a HC. I do think he'd be an interesting voice to bring into MN to discuss offense philosophy with KOC. Love KOC but he has too many people from the McVay school around him, needs some other points of view.

Morris might stick around, depending on Penix. I think his players really like him. Those coaches stick around a bit longer.

Bynum - he was good with us, too. I'm not sure he's "better" as opposed to "still good."
Kelly - yeah, concussions but
Fries - he hasn't been as dominating. Add in the reports on Ingram in Texas and Bradbury in NE and I think there is real smoke here. I'd be ok with a new o-line coach after the year.

Blackmon - this one hurt. IIRC, there were reports in camp that Blackmon didn't want to do special teams and was getting burned by practice squad WR in practice. So we got a 6th rounder for him in next years draft. Not sure what happened but hopefully the team evaluates why it came to that decision.
