I just kinda figured someone should say something.

 

They seem to have gone 5-1-1 on a 7 game road trip, which, if games are played roughly every other day, is half a month without playing in front of their own fans. (i assume they have fans, even if not too many seem to be here)

Tonight I watched the NYR give up a goal in the last minute of regulation, fail to score on an OT power play, and then give up a goal in the last minute of OT to lose 3-2 to the AV'S.

I have a friend who's an AV's fan. They were on the Wild's heels last i checked, as was Dallas?

I just noticed that Wild have the best road record in the league.

They had EDM down 2-0 four minutes in and now it's 3-3 going to the 3rd.

And as i wake up the next morning, lost 5-3.

At least it didn't affect their road record.

I haven't been paying attention... But i see they lost 2 road games recently (going 3-2 on the road trip)

Congrats on the Islanders come back, too.

Normal power plays end when the player-up team scores, right? (not on majors etc.). But they still count the full length as  penalty minutes? Oh... i suppose the player stays in the box, the team is just allowed substitute for them once a goal score?

May have slipped in the standings, but are still in line for a wild card, and have amongst the best road records. That's not nothing.

The Wild looked like a Minnesota team in the playoffs. The good 'ol, we'll give it our best shot and oh by golly if things go right we might just have a shot.

The Wolves have a different feel and look to them. A level of confidence an attitude you'll find in championship teams that we don't see in Minnesota.
