greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Pure Gardy.....drops Clete Thomas in lineup as he doesnt hit lefties well, but bats Ryan Doumit 3rd tho he doesnt hit lefthanders well either but keeps the teams best hitter vs lefties (TPlouffe) down in the lineup.

And I'm the guy who started the "Gardy rant" thread.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sale in his career holds lefties to a .209/.260/.285 line w/3HR in 397ABs but this poorly constucted team has 4 lefties starting & others in Doumit/Florimon who dont hit lefties well
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 In Gardy's defense, their's not much you can do with a 3 man bench (THAT is his fault!!) but my main arguement is how the team is constructed
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Oops... Gardy clearly didn't consruct the White Sox lineup good. Power doesn't belong in the lead off spot... Sheesh.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 Gardy should have told Kevin to throw a different pitch there.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Oops... Gardy clearly didn't consruct the White Sox lineup good. Power doesn't belong in the lead off spot... Sheesh.Doesnt Ventura know that you need a scrappy nontalented .220 hitter with .290 OBP in the leadoff spot with someone who can bunt in the 2nd spot.....its in the managerial book everyone gets!!!
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I really dislike Gardy but their isnt much you can do with this collection of everyday players......so please replace all my Gardy rips with Terry Ryan!!!!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Dick forgot how many outs there were. Fine his ass. The little things, Dick. The little things.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Gardy should have told Kevin to throw a different pitch there. I would called for the Elevator Pitch. Its a better introduction of your product. Correia needed a better introduction.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Think first pitch FB on Sale and take a hack, boys. Might guess right and run into one. Get behind in the count and it's going to be a long night.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 That's what RF'ers on last place teams do.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 There has to be medium between Ullger waving in runners when the SS has the ball and Vavra holding them when the ball is at the wall and the runner is just getting to third.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Dozier can't score on that? I didn't see a good replay but I assume the jump would have been poor based on the ball should've been caught.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Glad we didn't take a chance on Dozier scoring on that double over the RFers head that got hung up at the wall, there. Might have cost us a run.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Ok... For some reason... It's warm in the house... I got up to get a fan to move the air around. My wife says... Get a nice glass of water... Its her answer for everything... She's like the constant water peddler for the past year or so... She could do it for a living... I could be taking a shower or swimming in a lake and she'd tell me to have a glass of water.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sale... Break dancer... Who knew.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Go up there and hack at the first FB you get, boys!!!
