Disrespect towards Ted Williams "Red Seat" HR

What a bunch of self-absorbed, ego-maniacs today's ball players are. "Mine went further", "No way he hit one up there" and other derogatory comments directed towards a HOFer and probably the greatest hitter ever. Today's technology suggests the distance was even further than ever thought. Show some respect.

I saw and read that article this morning, and it was fantastic! It explained how and why Williams homer really did go at least that far, and the factors that were involved. That was one helluva launch!

That newspaper article from the same day made it sound like it was near hurricane level wind. Those outfield seats didn't sound terribly pleasant to sit in!
