I saw somewhere that Alcalá avoided serious injury, but they gave no further information. He's listed as day-to-day on ESPN's injury report.

He caught a line drive comebacker, which deflected off his pitching hand (fingertips). He threw one or two pitches after that, then was removed from the game.

DeSclafani is done for the season, $4M risk that netted zero. He had flexor-tendon surgery.
