With these games REALLY not mattering much, why do we continue to pinch hit for Wallner mid way through games because a lefty comes out of the pen?  Wouldnt these games that dont mean all that much in the big picture be the perfect opportunity to let Wallner get some ABs against left handed pitching?

Farmer was two feet from putting the coffin nail on Cleveland’s season.

Brilliant pinch hit there by Baldelli.  A masterclass in managing.  The Wallner move was absolutely awful though, fire him.

I, personally, don’t like taking two of our best hitters out of the game right now for Luplow and Farmer.  Not only the implications on this game later, but their development.  I see the rationale and don’t think it’s egregious, so meh.

Hindsight is 20/20, on either side of your grievance.  But, fact is, neither of those subs contributed to a run and now we’re down two major offensive pieces for 1/3 of the game.  I think there’s plenty of debate to be had on those moves, whether or not they worked in this specific case.

Hitting is hard to do. Even when non pitchers are lobbing 50 mph slop. Expecting hits or contact at will is not a sure thing

I won't keep beating this, but it bounced forward (in the direction of seats), then hot something and bounced up and back. That's the part that cannot happen if it hit the yellow or below.
