It would be great if we take this one tonight to win the series, because I don't have a lot of faith in Keuchel tomorrow.

I’m going to tomorrow’s game and was disappointed when Keuchel was announced as the starter. It is more than the pitching matchup thankfully. 
 

That said, the Twins need a win today and maybe they can open their widest lead of the year. Lots of Rangers and Guardians the rest of the month.

How well do you think Keuchel needs to pitch to get a third start?  Five innings-three earned runs- 80 pitches?  Or do you think Ryan's pending return will push him to the bullpen or unemployment line if it's a bad outing.

X-rays negative…contusion…looks like no IL stint.

Cracked on the hand with a 94mph fastball. X-rays were negative.

Wallner is a moose and I hope he is back soon picking up where he left off. This guy has more to offer than all or nothing sounds types. Man he was fired up after the grand slam.

Well since the ump had a questionable call on that second strike, I think it is a fair time to bring up my idea regarding umps and robo umps. I still like the human element of umpires (disclaimer: I am 35 yo so I am not Old Man Coffee) but also like the idea of strikes and balls being calls a little more consistently.

So here my idea: Umpires wear an ear piece, much like pitchers do, and someone behind the scenes (probably in NY) is watching the game that has access to technology of a perfect strike zone. If a ball is 6 inches off the plate like Sonny Gray's second to last strike, the operator tells the ump in his ear piece that said ball was 6 inches off the plate, and then the ump will theoretically tighten it up, and be more consistent with an accurate strike zone throughout the game.

Idk if he, or Buxton, chases that curveball outside the zone for the thrike more. Either way, not great that both our "superstars" have that same issue.
