While I’m not a fan of the Win stat as a measurement of pitcher effectiveness (tonight a great example of why), I’d really like to see the hitters score a couple this inning to set up Sonny for a W.

Great to see that our bases loaded hitting is fixed.

Lewis looks really good but has a couple of things to fix. Against some right handed pitchers he steps in the bucket. Also, Royce tends to be very pull conscious, which hurts him badly on pitches down. Lewis has good power the other way and needs to trust his opposite field stroke.

I'm less upset with Gallo than Lewis and Solano.  A productive out would have scored a run.

Solano has terrible  Footwork , And like Polanco at 3b  Solano has zero buisness at 1b
