This team is getting very tough to watch. I might be checking out very soon...the Beverly Hillbillies comes on at 8.

I always liked Green Acres

Pitching, fielding and hitting.
Just not a lot of any of it lately.

Justin in booth channeling the angst of a million posters pointing out the obvious organizational differences in hitting between the Sox and Twins.

I hope the front office is listening, but I wouldn't count on it.

Bremer is all of us

Haha he gets very forlorn and resigned to what’s happening. Moppish Dick Bremer is my favorite

Gave away a strike down the middle doing it, might have changed the whole inning.

Umpire should be better but you see that a lot on pick/sb throws when the catcher jumps out of the crouch and the ump misses an otherwise obvious strike.

Not saying he shouldn't try to control the run game but it's a pretty low probability play trying to back pick the runner, so there are trade offs.

Understood but I still like it. Anything to change the chemistry.

And yes, I was a catcher 😉

Bouncer to third…sigh…double play

Our other routine outcome, after strikeouts.

Sigh.

2 out walk, Julien has time to make a better throw to 3rd but doesn't, Farmer has to catch that throw, but couldn't be bothered.  Kirillof turns a single into a double with disinterest.

Bad baseball continues, and nobody ever wants to look at the manager.

Now a hitter jogs to 1st and would have been safe had he busted it.

You get the performance management allows, in any industry/endeavor.

All people have done is complain about Julien and Kiriloff not in the lineup against LHP.  Rocco finds a way to get them both in the lineup, and they both make mistakes.  But we want to look at the manager to blame?  How is the manager always seemingly at fault?  The hitting is abysmal, but both of those plays in the field should be fairly routine.

At what point do the seats under Falvey and Lavine start to heat up?

In this market? Anyone’s guess

Juliens was at least a heads up play. He just made a poor throw. Kiriloff was very lethargic on that double.

Umps ruled he was entitled to the next base on overthrow, which they determined to be 3rd since he wasn't there yet when ball went out of play.

Fantastic call now that I reread the rule 3 times.  I would’ve called it wrong. If the batter had made it to first before the throw then it would be a run and on third. That’s a run on the 14u field every time lol. Can’t wait to have to explain that to a coach. Sheesh.

I haven't called for either to be in the lineup against lefties, but that's beside the point.

No matter who is in, they need to play better baseball. Consistently.

And I blame the manager for large scale subpar performance. Inattention. Lack of awareness. Poor decision making. Lack of hustle. Low levels of intestinal fortitude. Too many "owies" and too much time off.

Mediocre is perfectly acceptable in Minnesota sports.

I would like to see the Twins win another World Series. If it takes 32 more years I likely won’t be around.
