2 out walk, Julien has time to make a better throw to 3rd but doesn't, Farmer has to catch that throw, but couldn't be bothered.  Kirillof turns a single into a double with disinterest.

Gave away a strike down the middle doing it, might have changed the whole inning.

Umpire should be better but you see that a lot on pick/sb throws when the catcher jumps out of the crouch and the ump misses an otherwise obvious strike.

Not saying he shouldn't try to control the run game but it's a pretty low probability play trying to back pick the runner, so there are trade offs.
