That was a really bad PA from Gallo. I expect better from him, even if it still results in a K.

I wonder what it is with him. Sometimes he looks like he can work a pitcher, be selective, etc. Other times he's missing the ball by mile.

Another one for Gallo.  Also on strikeouts there is never any moving the runner or getting a sac fly or having a chance to get on on an error.  Do all these fancy stats they come up with take note of that?

I said ill have Gallos back as long as he can stay above 200,    your right he is the Enigma in a ball uniform

Several, yes. But the actual impact is a lot smaller than you think.

Not sure why people can’t figure out that if you bat .200 but hit 30 HRs, that’s more valuable.

What recent game does this game resemble? I’d say it is a lot like yesterday’s except the balls are finding holes against the Twins. Cleveland put together an inning by finding holes aided most by López walking the first batter. Some games you aren’t meant to win.

I’m wondering how many go on the IL. What a strange game baseball is sometimes.

CLE put together an inning by making contact and not trying to reconstruct BOMBA.

Is there a prettier sight than seeing a white baseball nestle in the green grass behind the cf wall?

Depends on how it got there.

And you can't hit into a double play if you don't put the ball in play.

There are a lot of reasons why batting average is so devalued in modern baseball.

And it's not because these guys* who run billion-dollar franchises are stupid about baseball.

*Kim Ng runs the Marlins so we should probably stop saying "guys" here, me included

Kepler out with migraine.  I didn't know he had a history of migraines.  Hard to believe he tells the trainer/Rocco, that he has a bad headache, and its diagnosed as a migraine.  I had migraines as a kid, so I'm somewhat familiar,

Dunno, maybe. Maybe not. The most likely outcome is probably mediocrity but with variables like Correa, Miranda, Kirilloff, Buxton, Lewis, Wallner, et al in play, the ceiling should be pretty high.

I'm on the positive but wondering side too. I see upside in a bunch of spots: Jeffers, Kirilloff, Polanco, Lewis, Castro, Larnach, Wallner, Julien, and have hope for Buxton, Correa, Kepler, Gallo, Vasquez, Farmer, Taylor, and Miranda. That's just on the position side.

Just catching up… We’ve been waiting for over a decade to see a home grown super star. Royce Lewis could potentially be that guy.
