RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 I have a problem with this intermittent play. If he's hurt, put his rump on IL. If he can play one day and not the next, then his quality of play is negated to a large extent. His masking of a serious injury is outstanding and leads one to think if he's hurting or injured. If he doesn't have the fortitude to play through some pain, then may baseball isn't for him. It isn't all smiles and sunflower seeds. It's like wanting to be a surgeon but you can't stand for a 6 hour operation.
