Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Baby Meat warming up for the Sox.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Justin needs to be patient here.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Justin needs to be patient here. Yes sir
big dog Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 OK, that's a nice at-bat for Morneau. Good patience. Tie game.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 There ya go Ultima... You produced a run.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Now a base hit by Doumit would be nice.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 ARGHHH!!!!! I was counting on some Dough-Mitt there.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 There ya go Ultima... You produced a run.It was "runs" plural, but I'll take especially since it was tongue in cheek.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 We can't keep giving them runs
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 How is that a single? Just give everyone a hit even if they strike out. That's the way things are headed with these morons as official scorers.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 HEY - OH, Twins baseball!http://deephousepage.com/smilies/spank2.gif
Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Two gift runs. Not going to win many games doing that.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 de Aza should buy a lottery ticket. He's not only scored both runs, he's gotten two hits from the official scorers on plays that easily could have been errors. Ditto for Keppinger, who's on a Hicks/Dunn level hitless streak but has gotten both RBIs by letting the ball hit his bat. Diamond has basically gone 6 innings, two hits and two unearned runs, unless you are drinking with the official scorer.
Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Wow Escobar has a great arm.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I don't know why any pitcher would throw fastballs to our hitters. We've got a lot of guys who can't handle curves/breaking pitches.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 It was "runs" plural, but I'll take especially since it was tongue in cheek. Try it again

Remember when being compared with Adam Dunn would have been considered a good thing?
Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Good now they won't bunt. Let the young man hit!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Don't bunt here... Just pull it...
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 You've got to manufacture this run at least.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 On second thought... Should have bunted.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 You've got to manufacture this run at least. You are not doing your job... I'll have to do it... Hicks, Escobar, Carroll... Just the guys to drive runs in.
Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Hicks!!! All he does is knock in runs!
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Aaron Hicks, your MLB ready, Twins center fielder. In all seriousness, he is doing a much better job laying off the benders in the dirt.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Real nice take on that nasty breaking ball on the 1-2 pitch
