Brandon Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/04/outrights-godoy-bazardo-adolfo.html Looks like we have 2 number 3 Catchers for depth at AAA. Though that makes it harder for Banuelos to make his debut this year as the next Butera.

Rosterman Verified Member Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Stevie Berman was also a possibility. Suddenly the Twins have TOO MANY CATCHERS! Hamilton also at AAA. Isola and free agent signees Morales and Ortega, plus Bechtold and Williams at AA. Carmago, Morales and WInkel in Cedar Rapids. Cardenas, Schmidt, Tatum in Ft. Myers. Plus at least six promising ones at the Training Center.

Godoy and Sisco pretty much fill the profile that Rortvedt provided, although neither is probably as good a defensive catcher as Rortvedt. When the Twins add a 13th position player, one of the two might be added to the major league roster although they would have to create a spot on the 40-man roster.
Dman Verified Member Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 I don't know much about Sisco but he is off to a hot start hitting 400 with a 1300 OPS. Already has a HR granted all in a small sample size but seems like he might be a leg up right now. I really like Hamilton and he was good with bat to start last year as well. Hoping he can keep it up this year. Have not been impressed with Berman at all. At least not at the plate. I still like Godoy as well just not sure how much power he has and it is nice to have a catcher with power since they generally don't hot or run that well at least HR's can help.
