I generally see a bad level of play when I attend, led by an oversupply of apparently crafty pitchers with 88 MPH heaters who get tattooed. Maybe the Saints will someday prove to be the exception if I'm in town to give them a try. To make it worse, not one individual in the dugouts or on the playing field believes he belongs there. Yes, thank you for that perspective. The three Saints games I have seen so far this season have been putrid. The low A minor league games I have seen over the years have been much more entertaining. I disagree that the Saints are so much cheaper than the Twins. I found $18 tickets for Saturday, September 11 for the Twins. The Saints play at CHS that night and outfield reserved are $16. Yes, there are cheaper Saints options, I just can't sit on the berm or those awful GA seats at CHS Field. I also concede that you get closer to the field at CHS for the same dollars. I think people are crazy to want to watch the AAA team over the MLB club if we are only talking the play on the field.

So I'd wager he was against a rehab stint but hopefully he's also smart enough to realize he's not a great advocate for his own well-being. Makes it all the more likely an unfiltered reaction would be entertain, even if not so informative, at least a certain simpleminded subset of fans (i porbably am one) Meh, he comes back when he comes back..
Irishman Verified Member Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Saints play much better than Twins. And Saints’ ticket is cheaper. Foods are cheaper! Fun to watch Saints!
Whitey333 Verified Member Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 To me it's always the Twins. MLB has the best players in the world. Saints are excellent and fun to follow. Both teams have awesome stadiums. But most AAA players don't make it to the big leagues or at least don't stay long there. I won't go anywhere near downtown Minneapolis anymore during the evening. The furthest I will go during the daytime is Target Field.
