Good move. Wade just didn't really have a spot here. To get a guy with some ML innings and a chance is a good return IMO. Sounds like he throws pretty hard with a good slider and has starting experience. This is a good depth guy I think. Nice move.

I'm not in his circle or anything, but there's still an emotional connection such that I'll always root for him. Witnessing his scary outfield collision in the Arizona Fall League will do that. Say, whatever happened to jet travel and going to see random ballgames? That used to be a thing.

Shaun Anderson had a 5.73 FIP and a WHIP of 1.435 last year. Those are really bad numbers. Hope the Twins can get some good innings out of him.

 

Glad that Wade is going to get a better chance to play than he would have with the Twins.
