I'd driven up to Minn for that final Royals series, but I didn't remember that impressive Cuddyer bat flip on his dinger! Guess I was watching the ball.

I didn't either! That was pretty great haha

Mauer got the attention for his sideburns, but Baker had himself a pretty impressive set of those, too.

Bases loaded...2 outs...who else would you rather have up to the plate in this moment than...................Matt Tolbert

Goes back to that depth thing you were talking about :)

Rauch throwing 90-91. A 6-11 guy throwing at that velo today would have people wondering if his elbow is healthy.

Little Nicky Punto comes through to lead off B7. Hell of an AB.

So true. Rauch was really good for the Twins. In 1.5 seasons he posted a 2.82 ERA in 73.1 innings

Watching the replay, Raburn looks like he probably should have caught that HR ball by Cabrera. It was barely over the top of the wall, but Raburn was a step too far to the right. If he reads the path right, his glove would be up there fighting for the ball with the fans. Wouldn't THAT have been an interesting potential fan-interference call?

Can't even imagine!

Gardy bringing in Nathan in a non-save situation, huh? Don't see that every day!

Ahead of his time! :)

There were just SO many incredible plays made by both teams in these last few innings.

The 09 twins are still my favorite team ever. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Cuddy running that fast in real time.

Glad the result didn't change this time.

I missed it this afternoon, but my DVR is set to record any Twins game. It’s been great to see Mauer behind the plate. And now to see Nathan doing the bpbpbpbpt thing.

I was in class and didn’t get home until like the 8th inning. This was the first time I’ve seen the whole game. There were some great performances/plays along the way.
