Hmmm. I though he should have been the Twins #1 target this past offseason. I’m glad nobody listens to me when it comes to baseball decisions.

My top targets were Jeurys Familia, David Robertson and Joakim Soria.

Cody Allen might be a target at some point, assuming his sudden downturn is due to injury. Twins might call him up next spring to see if he has recovered, then give him a tryout, which, if successful could generate a minor league deal. Some of these pitchers with diminished heaters might be revived by some coaching from Wes Johnson. See: Pitching staff, Minnesota Twins.

I wonder if the Twins will have any interest in kicking the tires with Allen on a minor league deal right now.  I see they just signed Ian Krol to one.  Falvey should be well aware of Allen, so I guess we'll see.
