Kopech has a torn UCL and may have to have TJ surgery.  He's getting a second opinion on what to do.

[Fargoguy]

Nothing strikes fear in an opponent like Logan Forsythe in the cleanup spot.

Rosario not exactly getting a lot of plate protection on his return back to the lineup.

But hey, at least that's the best 1-2-3 in the order in quite some time.

Top of the 5th here in Ft. Myers. No score, a couple of good plays and timely strike outs.

LoFo or Grossman?

Some might call that a (Butch) Hobson's choice.

[mickeymental]

take heart: the royals will be trying just as hard to lose as the twins.

No score?

I guess we can write off Kirilloff. Just another Twins prospect bust.

By the way, if you didn’t see my post in the minors forum, nice article by local writer David Dorsey.

MIRANDA!!!! Very long 2-run HR. Miracle are up 2-0 in the bottom of the 6th

[Winston Smith]

Glad to see Grossman get his at bats every day. Big part of next years team, one of the building blocks.

[Squirrel]

And that’s it for Barnes. 6.2 scoreless innings, 7 hits, 5 SO, 1 BB

The what forum?

Good artical, Twins should give him a shot as a minor leauge roving hitting coach,

[big dog]

Gonsalves didn’t hold that lead for very long. I hope he can figure a few things out.

[mrmpls]

Sorry, but i just dont see anything with Gonsalves, But better to find out now ,

[Aggies7]

Is this the same gonsalves guy who’s name I’d heard numerous times in reference to “the future”?

Can kiriloff pitch???

[Aggies7]

P

[Aggies7]

Lol what’s with the quick hook, paul? At least let him finish on some kind of positive note

[big dog]

Well, Gonsalves didn't hold that tie very long.

Remember how he went 5-for-5 the other day? Less mentioned was that he scored just ONE run, and had a big fat ZERO RBI. Talk about selfish padding of one's stats. I'm very unimpressed.

[S.]

Have we developed a single decent pitcher in recent years besides Berrios?

[big dog]

So apparently Gonsalves was the opener for Busenitz.
