Huh. I thought they'd try to find someplace with a warmer spring maybe......my friends that live out there are probably happy though, so I am.

A warmer spring would be nice to get the players up to speed quicker, but a colder spring maybe helps acclimate them to Target Field.

 

Or maybe not, so far no one seems to have acclimated to Target Field in the early part of the season.

Given the similar climate in the early spring I am fine with this. It’s not like there is a Midwestern AAA team looking for a MLB affiliate.

Not sure there are many warm weather cities in either the PCL or the IL.
