Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Huh. I thought they'd try to find someplace with a warmer spring maybe......my friends that live out there are probably happy though, so I am.

A warmer spring would be nice to get the players up to speed quicker, but a colder spring maybe helps acclimate them to Target Field. Or maybe not, so far no one seems to have acclimated to Target Field in the early part of the season.
FormerMinnasotan Provisional Member Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Given the similar climate in the early spring I am fine with this. It’s not like there is a Midwestern AAA team looking for a MLB affiliate.
