Just wanted to say -- no joke -- the quality of game thread intros so far this season is off the charts. Amid all the, uh, less than hoped for quality of play, the game thread vols have been on their collective games!

Heads up, everyone ... we've added some dates for June. These dates are the series openers for the month. If anyone is interested in any of them (or any of the other open dates for June and onward), you know what to do! (Er, send a PM to me and Chief.)

We have only 4 openings left for June, including tomorrow's game against Boston, which could be the tie-breaker or the sweep of the series! Let me and Chief know.

Baltimore and Tampa Bay seem unpopular in July...

 

And strange, Mr. Chief hasn't included any October games in the open game thread list. We could get caught unprepared.

In the 8/25 game thread, Tom made the following announcement:

 

 

Starting Monday I'll have to step away from posting game threads due to some other projects that are going to be demanding more of my time. It looks like going forward we only have 11 games where someone has previously volunteered to start the thread. So, if you happen to notice we're creeping up on first pitch and nobody's started a thread, you can go ahead and get it started yourself. There's really no standard format you have to abide by, just kick off the conversation.

Below is the list of 'claimed' game threads. The unlisted dates are open for the taking. If you want a game thread and see none started, just jump in and get it going. No need to go through Chief or me or anyone else to put your name on the schedule, first come, first served.
