Jake Mauer

According the Star Tribune he appears to be leaving the organization to "pursue other interests". Any idea whether those are baseball related? If so I'd be disappointed we weren't able to retain him.

Yes, I'm looking forward to getting my next oil change written up by Jake Mauer himself.

Has Gardenhire filled out his coaching staff yet?

It could happen!

"Going forward, Jake is expected to work in brother Billy’s Buick GMC dealership in Inver Grove Heights. He’s also expected to “pop in” and help out baseball teams at alma mater Cretin-Derham Hall and the University of St. Thomas."
